chakra spin

I know there are a lot of sources that disagree with me, but I'm of the opinion that it doesn't really matter which way your chakras spin.  I'm able to spin mine in either direction - sometimes it's easier one way, and sometimes it's easier the other way.  As long as they're activated, I've never seen a difference of results depending on which way they're spinning.

According to Barbara Brennan (a renowned healer, see her book "Hands of Light"), the spin of a chakra depends on the direction of the energy flow.  If you look at a chakra from above and it rotates clockwise, the flux of energy goes into the geometric plane the chakra is in, away from you - and vice versa, so accordingly, the healthy state (which is, taking in and assimilating energy) would be a clockwise spin, viewed from the outside.
According to this model, then, it is indeed important in which direction the chakras spin, especially when it comes to how you perceive the world: when you get energy from the ouside, you see the world as it it through your chakras, but if you give too much energy outwards instead, you mistake your projections for the real world.
Chakras are pretty always 'activated', because if a chakra is not working at all, metabolizing no energy whatsoever, it will very likely result in a serious disease soon because of the links between the physical and the energetic bodies.
Your chakras should spin in whatever direction is appropriate for your current state of being. In the course of your development in life, this direction can change from time to time, depending on the issues you're working through.

Im goina experiemnt with a changing spin, or both directions at once

I've read all sorts of different opinions about this. The conclusion I came to from personal experience is they spin in a manner that is right for you! In my case, my chakras, when all healthy and active, alternate in direction from one to the other kind of like meshing gears. As seen from my view, my root chakra spins clockwise, sacral anti-clockwise, solar plexus clockwise, and so on.

The direction of spin is important though. When you've been doing energy work for a bit you can actually feel the effect it has. A chakra spinning the wrong way can feel like it's blocked. You can change the direction at will, and you should get some kind of feeling from the chakra if the new direction is right or wrong.

The way I learned how my chacras should work was by using a pendulum to "dowse" the chakra. I'd lie down flat and hold a pendulum just over a chakra that I can feel is flowing well, and I could see the pendulum  spin in nice even circles. Next chakra up, it span in the opposite direction. When I got to one that did not feel ok, the pendulum would either stop, spin the wrong way, or spin in a flat elipse.

This is no doubt easier if you have someone else hold and watch the pendulum, but either way its a good test instrument.

Ive got a prejudice against pendulums, I just don't wanna use them

as for the chakra spin, Im starting to think that one direction corresponds to an influx of energy (absorbing) or an outflux (releasing)

and I suppose that each chakra would spin at different speeds or directions depending on the situation

but thatst just my own feelings

hey can anyone give me any info on what way my chakras should be spinning?

Ive come across many different Idea's on chakra spin, and how it related to cultivating energy

clockwise vs counterclockwise?

it almost makes no sense as clockwise is counter clockwise to someone viewing from the other side

please help, all this spinn talk is making me dizzy
