before you go look, tell me your own impressions of the energies there.  I'd like to hear it.
as below, so above

Mistic-Idan

I have heard about the 7 major chakras.
But I also read about 4 more chakras that I can't find about them any info on the web.
One "earth chakra" under the root chakra between the body and earth.
And 3 more chakras above the head: one is silver, one is gold and one is bronze.
If someone does know about those special and unknown chakra pls reply my question: what are they and where can I find info about them?

Thanks.

That's interesting.  I've read books where they mentioned "seven to twelve chakras" but then they didn't go into them.

Thanks for your post.

the_demigod

How advanced do you have to be to even BEGIN working with those chakras and, even more importantly, to BENEFIT from them???

When I do energy readings, I'm sometimes aware of an 8th chakra above people's heads.  The color I experience is what I call elecktrum -- it's a silvery-gold color and shaped a little like a koosh ball.  Since you say there are three and two of them are silver and gold respectively, I'm not sure that I'm not mixing them together in my perception.

In my personal experience, sometimes this is active in people very new to metaphysical growth and development, and in some highly developed people I don't notice it at all.  (The way my "sight" works, this doesn't necessarily mean that it's not there and active in advanced people, there are a number of reasons it might drop below threshold for me and not be noticed if there's lots of other stuff going on)

What I have noticed in the less evolved people where the 8th chakra is obvious, is that for whatever reason they're drawing their energy from the cosmos and not from the earth.

And that's all I can tell you about the view from the bleachers.

the_demigod

Maybe those that draw their energy from "above" are the "dreamer" type of personality?? Focused on their ideas, dreams, ambitions, yet still unable to realise them due to weak development??

I heard there are a 144 major energy vortexes in total. Guess you have to be really advanced (god-like) to be aware of them ;-)
My happiness is yours.

Mistic-Idan

Nope... There are 7 major chakras, 300+ minor chakras and more 3 chakras that may be legendary.

Hi All,
A few years ago I read a small book called, "The 21 Chakra System" by Soluntra King.  She adequately described the human energy centres.

Apart from the 7 major body chakra there are some in the palms of our hands, the souls of our feet, one supposedly half way between the Base(root) chakra and the Earth, three above our heads that are separated at around 12 inches apart, one in the Earth below us called "Earth Star" and a new one growing between the Heart and Throat chakra, called the Thymus... an area concerned with our growing Compassion.

After experimenting with friends to read the chakras by dousing with Pendulum, we found that there are 3 centres above our heads.  I don't quite remember as yet what the functions of the three higher chakra are, but I can assure you they are really there.

I'm also a little unsure now about the colours assigned to them, with the exception of the Silver and the Gold... there was never a mention of one coloured Bronze in the booklet.

Must be time to see if I can find the book again.

I don't think we are really meant to purposely take all our energy needs from the Earth, with the exception of Balancing and Grounding (which is the same thing really).  Many of us bring energy in from above... I call doing it on purpose "the White Light Method".  Many of us also send our issue energy straight up through the higher chakra directly to the Higher-Self to deal with after we have worked through it, while others just 'radiate it out to the world'.

Lastly, energy flows all around and through us all the time, we are never separated from the flow...  so we just absorb what we need, much like a sponge.  You may notice when you do the food shopping etc, that you may start with a high energy level and during your walking amongst crowds you get tired, grumpy etc.  This is because energy flows from areas of high concentration to areas of least concentration... so when you are full (energized) and amongst a crowd doing the daily grind, the energy will flow from you into those less energized.

Some people insist on shielding and trying to keep that energy to themselves...selfish aren't they ?   What I find works brilliantly is to allow the natural energy flow.. and when you feel the drain, simply bring in more Light to re-energize.   In this way we are sharing and allowing the universe to flow as it should... which also helps us to feel a part of it all instead of the separation most people feel.

Love Always.  :D

I've heard that there is a chakra at the back of head. Person called Oazaki explained how it works in Energy Body Development forum some time ago. I don't know if what he says about it's functions is true, but when I've used chakra stimulation techniques on this place, I could certainly feel that there is some energetic structure here.

CaCoDeMon,
Thanks for reminding me about that chakra.  There are two that open to the back of the head, the Brow (3rd eye) and one called the Causal Chakra which is where we get spirit communications through.  It is situated to the right of centre roughly level with the top of your ear.

I also forgot to mention that the front chakra opnings are relative to Feeling, emotions and mental activities as well as the organs associated with each chakra.

At the back they are related to our Will and are called Will Centres.  So in effect we have 21 Vortexes in the body as well as the three above and one or two below the base and in the earth.

It keeps getting more and more complex doesn't it ?  LOL

Love ALways.  :D

Hi everyone,

I would like to add that I heard that the lowest (root) chakra is the easier to work with.  Other than the chakra in the palms.

And that  the eariest way to remember the order of the 7 main chakras is to know the order of colours in the rainbow.

The thing  I am confuse with is how exactly do the chakras interact (if they do)?

Thanks in advance....

thanks for the wonderful time aboard the ship. Have a great day ahead.

The only chakras I ever hear spoken of are those few in the central pillar. Hower, the Kabbalistic Tree of Life is represented in the chakras, and there are thousands of microchakras. As I see it, all of these exist in layers throughout several energy bodies of varying refinement.
Delete this, Major Tom. I will not have any more of my posts removed due to their rebuttal of admittedly anti-Semitic Illuminatists, who have have been referred to with quotes and specific bibliographical information.

just to remind, i hope that author doesn't mind
One thing that always surprises me when looking at the stuff on energy body development and chakra work out there is how few people know of or work with the chakric level located at the point of the chin / back of the head. About the only people I've seen who mention it are Drunvalo Melchizedeck and yogi Bhajhan. Yet it is one of the body's main chakras and as central to the human being as the other, better known and publicized chakras. Before we go further on this here's some details as to what I'm talking about:

ADMEITUS / ERECHTHEUS CHAKRA – IDEALISM AND EFFECTIVENESS. The Admeitus level is located at the point of the chin, the Erechtheus level at the base of the skull on the back of the head. Relates to living freely and without compromise, making your dreams and values a reality. Detachment and self-discipline are strongly involved too.

IN MORE DETAIL:

ADMEITUS: Justness, courage. Admeitus is the lesson of the warrior-hero, the knight in shining armour. It is about determination, standing up for yourself and for what you believe in even if you are scared or it would be imprudent to do so. It is about being willing to take a stand and fight against injustice, and being unwilling to compromise your principles or back down. In its pure form there is at the Admeitus chakra a belief in righteousness, in doing the right thing, and its value. Honesty, forthrightness, forwardness, courage and beauty.

ERECHTHEUS: Again relates to combat and fighting. The key difference is that at this level, unlike at the Admeitus level, you are not fighting from within yourself as the ego personality with all the human frailty, fear, uncertainty and emotionality which that entails, but from within your Self as the entire creation itself. Action and intention at this level is characterized by the same sort of detachment and unstoppability as the flow of nature and the laws of the universe themselves. There is a high degree of detachment involved for you don't, emotionally or conceptually, really care whether you win or lose, live or die, at all. This contributes to making your mindstate (or, more accurately, your soulstate) at this level entirely uncompromising: you don't care whether you lose everything and so this frees you to fight in the most extreme way in order to attain your desired end. In other words there is no holding back out of fear and caution. There is at this level the ability to ride within the flows of nature, to control and direct them, and to bend the laws of probability to your will. It is not so much that you feel no fear but that fear itself does not even exist, does not even enter into consideration. In practice, action and intention from this level is vicious, extreme, unstoppable and yet controlled, detached and flowing. It is not action based on the frail superficiality of human morality (as at the Admeitus level) but on the necessity of the moment and on an inner freedom to embody the forces of nature, of the universe. That is probably the key to understanding the nature of the Erechtheus level: you address the problem, the obstacle in the most direct way possible i.e. without letting your ego personality and human concepts such as morality, restriction and fear get in your way.

Admittedly, I can understand why the traditional teachers kept this chakra secret for so long, given the areas of life that it governs and the powers / life abilities which development of said chakra produces in an individual. Further, as the Admeitus / Erectheus chakra is the last step before the third eye, by simply omitting to mention it, seekers fail to develop real third eye results unless they discover the "missing link" themselves, and so prove themselves ready to walk their own path. But hey, the time for secrecy has past and I reckon that if somebody can be bothered to do the esoteric work to develop a part of themselves in *any* area, then they should have available the necessary tools and knowledge to do so.

As some of you will probably know, each chakra corresponds to a specific planet. It's how astrology works and is also the mechanism by means of which karma activates. Admeitus corresponds to the newly-discovered planet out beyond Pluto, currently known as Quaoar. You can find out more about Quaoar here:
http://www.karmastrology.com/quaoar.shtml
and you can get hold of a Quaoar ephemeris here:
http://www.ephemeral.info/oldeph/

Erechtheus correpsonds to the planet known as Marduk by the Babylonians and reffered to as Nibiru in the Sumerian clay tablets. Though NASA has in fact re-discovered this planet already they're not making that discovery public yet, so I can't point you to any further web-based resources on it in line with what I gave you above for Admeitus. Still, shouldn't be long before Erechtheus's existence, too, is made public.

Hey tayesin, could you tell us more about this thymus chakra. I have started feeling a very strong chakra between the heart and the throat ones, and in fact i now feel two other chakras on each side of them, near each nipple, so that it feels like a diamond (the top of it being the thymus). What does it mean ??

Hi Kalonek,
From what I understand about it, this new chakra has been developing as we evolve further toward real Compassion.  I suppose it may be in response to the enegetic increase we are experiencing, and possibly because we are in the time of the Bhodisatva of Compassion...  as the Dalai Lama is known.  Perhaps it is also relevant to the coming of Maitreya who is supposed to be a Buddha of Compassion I think.

Apart from that, which may not be completely correct, it is a definite thing that can be divined with the Pendulum to see how it is flowing and growing in us.

I have no idea how people will manifest this growth, so you may well be feeling something in the area you mentioned that is realative to this chakra.  Perhaps you could have a friend read it with a pendulum for you to see how it is effecting you ?

Tay.

PS.  There is a lot of stuff on the Net about Maitreya now.  Who was supposed to have been born in the west around 1960, yet the site I was reading last night was obviously fraudulent about it's assertions of Maitreya being an asiatic/indian dressed in finery who supposedly and miraculously appears in places around the world.

Shame their are many Maitreya frauds around.

I think he/she could well be a normal westerner bashing away at their computer like the rest of us !!   :D

Kalonek

Thanks for your answer Tayesin :) What i feel is very localised and indeed feels 100% like a major chakra, but i just started feeling it about 2 months ago, though i have been doing energy work for many years all over my body.
I've indeed heard of Maitreya, but i'm a little sceptic too on what we see and read on the internet.

ok, i decided to share some of my resources
http://www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/Meditations.html
you have ways to open some minor chakras all over body, as well as celestial chakras (there are 4 above head actually
+ everything to become "powerful"
however there is one penalty, this "site" attacks psychically everyone reading it, the message was even aftere copying text, i have to remove it manually
of course this may be my illusion, but dreaming about satan and upturned pentagrams lead me to discovering peculiar alien energy structures in my head, strong will, and being aware of it removes it (hopefully), so be warned

I was thinking about the debate about the number of chakras.. and I got to considering that every pore has a minor chakra... and then I wondered about chakras on the cellular level..

Any ideas?

Tayesin

Hi Shift_Tao,
Over the years I've read so many different explanations of the Chakra.  So many different people say so many different things.. in the end I decided to experiment and find out for myself what was there.  So I have my basic understanding that is currently working well in pratice.

Haven't even thought about the possibility of Cellular Level Chakras.  And for me that would complicate my practice way too much !!!  LOL

I look forward to reading what others have to say about your question.

God's Love

Hey all !

I want to comment what has been said about the Thymus chakra. I have had some recent experiences with that energy center :

- It is situated at equal distance between the heart and the throat chakras. I wonder why it's not cataloged as a major energy center because it's quite big and important (btw, I wonder the same about the chakras situated between the belly chakra and the solar plexus chakra).
- One of its strongest aspects is innocence.
- It gets online when the active part of the heart chakra has been opened (that is, when you can decide on your own to love something on purpose).
- When the heart chakra is full of self-unconditional love, several energy blockings are removed in the chest and the Thymus chakra start to manifest.
- For all Christians around here, this chakra is VERY important. Since it's related to innocence, I guess you understood why :)

best regards,
Deiuo.

Hi Kalonek,

The info I provided is based on experience, as I have never red anything about this Thymus chakra, so what I stated is still "experimental" ;)
