Hi all,
I've been experimenting a great bunch of changes in my life for some months on, from a break-up, to severe work troubles (you know, extra hours without complaining).
Added to this I'm in the middle of a family war, so I know all facts but I can get them through (family secrets). Also, I met a partner just after the break-up so I concealed the relationship not to hurt my ex...
So many unspoken words and so much stress... I'm afraid they've finally projected in my neck.
Now I'm feeling a hugging strip like sensation inside my throat which comes and goes randomly.
I've proved everything: reiki, new, hard physical exercise and the like but the surrounding band is still there, tightening.
Is there any energy-related exercise so I could fix this mental projection?, any similar case so I don't feel so stupid?.
Thank you all in advance.
Same problem. Tried a lot of things. However I find that water actually helps, so it might be a physical problem, Might want to have a doc check it out.
I get this problem as well.
A friend of mine who is an astrologer told me about this potential problem. He saw that my Mars planet dwelled in Taurus (throat) in the first house. That leads my throat to chronic irritation problems and leaves it as a fertile ground to sow psychosomatic facts.
most energetic blockages can be ressolved with either relaxing or realigning parts of the physical body, which means you dont really need to go to yoga retreats or obsessively use NEW tecniques...
for the throat problem, try this..
relax the part of your nose which seperates the nostrils (dont know its name) then tilt your head forward until that part of your nose connects to the muscles which go from the top of the center of your lip, to the middle nose muscles you just relaxed..
so there should be a straight line from the crevice of the top lip, to just below the brow.
remember though that old habits die hard..

Your point on muscle relaxation is really interesting. In fact there's a school which cures with some unblocking physical exercises and it recommends to be prepared when all buried feelings pop up when muscular tension is released.
Anyway I've been trying to picture how to practice your advised exercise but I've been unable to have a clear image on my head of it. Could you, please, explain it again in other words?. I don't know if there's some kind of neck lock (as in yoga) or what.
For relaxation work I use to practice one called Discovery, by Robert Monroe.
sure, its just the piece of flesh which seperates the nostrils.. just try to relax it completey and let whatever other muscles which connect to them (muscles around the top lip) relax also...
ive been having troublesome breathing habits which stem from having the roof of my mouth and cheeks tense, it seems the muscles here are attatched somehow to the lungs, and when i allow my cheeks to drop, im suddenly able to take deeper breaths..
you should try and make that part of your nose as vertical as possible to get the most out of gravity's effect on puling it down.
good luck!
Hello.
A supposed friend of mine had told me that a certain group of bikers loved to take and wrap people's throats in some kind of chain wrap that tightens whenever you swallow, some kind of tension device, like an elastic. That scared me after I got back from my last adventure and my throat was tightening. It still tightens, although I got rocked in the jaw by a teen gang member on the streets so maybe it has something to do with that. I was told that only the biker who is in jail has the key to this band, and I thought, 'Yeah right, it's his middle finger with a long fingernail and he stabs you in teh throat with it."
