It varies a lot. It is not a regular practice for me, but it is something I do every day. Walking, riding the bus, meetings at work, the class I am attending, relaxing in the evening at home, going to sleep, waiting in line, and many other activities provide opportunities to raise a bit of energy. Some days I only barely do NEW, while on others it can add up to a couple of hours. My meditation is far more important to me as a daily practice.

What do you do for your meditation? I personally either do a breathing focused meditation or an inner light meditation where you look at light inside you eyelids.

Lately I haven't been doing much NEW, I think I've actually skipped a few daily practices. But I don't set myself a time for this sort of thing, it feels too much like a chore that way. I like to integrate energy work into my life. Some days I only do quick energy raising, others I can sometimes do next to nothing. Some days there are so many opportunities I choose to take advantage of the time can add up to hours. It all depends on the situation you're in.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

No amount of rigorous training, sitting and doing nothing, and clearing one's mind can help a man who hasn't overcome his doubts.

Well, I like...lost interest.  It just seems that I tried too much and now I just feel like sleeping better.  I have lots of time during the day, but once i get the mindset for it, I notice the gamecube controller and start playing.  I think the problem is I keep changing my goal.  At the beginning, it was simple stuff. One thing at a time.  A month or two ago, I wanted to do practically anything.  Nowadays, I really only do one thing, and that's the subconsious.  I thought it would be good to get a dialog going with it more often so that it could help me out with anything else I wanted to acheive, but I still receive no success.

Keep your priorities In line.  It is very important.

Squeek: The more I learn about you, the more we have in common! Same thing here. I'm starting to try to organize my priorities though. Not having much success, but trying.

But I definitely agree about not having a scheduled time to do it every day. That would make it seem too much like work.

Putting goals into writing along with time frames can help with some things. Unfortunately, meditation and energy work do not tend to follow logical, linear patterns. When I first learned about chakras, I decided to open all of them fully from base to crown at a rate of one per month. It sounded like a reasonable pace at the time. What confused me was why no one else wanted to get anything done any time soon. Now I know that setting goals and time frames does not work with unpredictable things like that. It is still helpful to put goals down in writing in another way, however. A certain number of reality checks per day, a specific time to work on meditation every day, getting through a number of pages in a book every day. Having things in writing made my goals look more manageable, rather than seeing a decade of meditation all at once.

How much time each day do you generally practice the NEW system?  I have recently started as in the last couple of weeks, and I practice for about 15 minutes a day.
