Title: Traditional Chakras and Spiritual Chakras ?
Post by: WiZe on June 08, 2012, 01:19:24
Does anyone believe that they're are actually 12 chakras, plus one including the Foot chakra ?

As stated on this website..which I have found to be very credible and his teachings very helpful (I'm not claiming that all the things on this website are 100% on point but I'm sure more then 75% of it is if he put his work out for free and is still selling the info on the website in books, which he states is only to keep the website up and running)

Traditional Chakras 1-7 + Foot

Spriritual Chakras 8-12
http://www.wisdomsdoor.com/ck/chakra_des.shtml

It states that the first 7 are to help your development in regards to the Earth, and that the next 5 are to help us become one with the universe.
It'll be interesting to see everyone's thoughts here since we are all apt to OBE which means the higher chakras would indeed be working to some extent.

Hi,
Im still learning about these. Theres primary and secondary with some others outside the body. Not forgetting energy receptors....
All confusing and oddly differing in viewpoints from various authors.
However more than one system exists as posted and this explains the mixup in some works on this subject it also adds confusion on which system is being read.
When you've learned enough its obvious.
Astral Dynamics is a good source of info for anyone new to this subject in my opinion.
Nice post Wize.

I could be wrong, but I think what he considers the "foot chakra" could be secondary centers, as the secondary centers in our feet and our hands tend to be much more naturally active, hence more noticeable. Pulling energy up from your feet into your root is a common part of some energy-work exercises.

I've read some of the Astral Dynamics, only about the energy work mainly tho. I think you were the one that introduced me to it   :-D Thanks, I hope more people will start learning about these chakras soon !

Maybe, I kind of thought that too becasue it seemed odd that we would have those secondary ones and then one in the middle. But after I thought about it I don't see why it couldn't be possible if all of our spiritual chakras reside off the body and they all are aligned with our bodies in a straight line. He said the 'foot chakra' was to pull out a lot of lower vibrating energy (negativity) and release it through the Earth. I don't see why our secondary foot chakras couldn't do that though, right ? Maybe the foot chakra is stronger because it's a 'primary one', if it does exist.

Thanks for the replies !

There are hundreds all over the body, but the major ones we tend to feel and see are the seven.

But if you see or feel more, why not  8-)
