Dont ask for "most people" to answer on this site. We should have higher than average visualization ability here.
What throws most people off the mark is that they expect to see actual images while visualization generally is more like remembering something likeyou described.
With practise it is possible to see actual images but apart form being a concentration excercize(sp?) it's not really necessary.

I've been reading the New Energy Ways thing, and come to the part about visualisation. Apparently most people have trouble visualising stuff. I find this strange because I have always been able to visualise anything I think of. I can picture anything in my head, kinda like seeing it but not properly, and not with my eyes. Is this a normal thing to have or do most people find it harder to visualise?
