NEW Energy Ways - bouncing problems

Bouncing your awareness does not require rapid motions. If you want to start by taking a whole minute to take your attention from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet and another minute to go back, you can do that. Choosing to stay at that speed is valid. Going slower is okay, too. It just happens to be that when you go faster you will create more sensations. This will help with raising more energy. You can pick a single body part such as an arm or leg. You can bounce energy through your entire body.

At first, energy moves along or near the surface of the body much more easily than inside the body. Internal resistance decreases as you continue to practice.

A few things you can try:

1) Inhale into your sub-navel storage center, and exhale feeling the energy expand throughout your entire body. Let warmth/awareness move through your body. Over and over. [:)]

2) Really slow bouncing, like Tom says. Or "sponging." Basically gently maintaining/moving your awareness, getting an energetic feel for your body.

Some days, I can move awareness up and down bodyparts quite fast and other days it's hard to get a "grip" on the energy or bouncing is sluggish. (A little drag is natural. RB mentions it.) I still have little places where I have to "skip" my awareness over when I bounce.

So, basically, you're doing fine. Just keeping having fun with it. [:)]

The article for NEW Energy Ways or NEW for short is incredible. It is well written and explains everything so well it is childsplay to use and learn...until I got to the part about "bouncing" awareness. There doesn't seem to be very much description on what exactly bouncing awareness is, and being the utter idiot I am I appreciate guidance in whatever form possible.

I find it difficult to experiment with what this bouncing is, because my awareness movements using T.I. have constantly been dragging slowly. I have to stir or stroke my hand/finger in mid-air and imagine it touching my leg to get it moving fast. I can't simply move my awareness quickly enough on my own.

Can anybody explain how I should bounce awareness?? And could anybody tell me any ways I can increase awareness speed without using physical movement???
