I've heard of many things you can do with it once it is opened. I've heard you can see ghosts, you can see the future, you can see with your eyes closed (I think it is called Remote Viewing), better psychokinetic skills, easier and better energy work, seeing auras...etc. I would also like to have this clarified. I think my third eye is opened because I took 3 different chakra tests online and they all said that my third eye was opened and almost perfect according to the percentages and the stuff they said.
Try to find a Buddhist site or do a search on google about it and if you find any information post the link on here because I would like to know all of the abilities the third eye has.
I've had mine open at one point, and yes you can see ghosts and spirits. You can also see your usual surroundings with your eyes closed and see auras(although the auras are sometimes confusing if they're from something that just moved or I had several incidences with severed tree branches still having their auras intact. However, I found that my depth perception was off and sometimes things looked like what you see in a fun-house mirror.[;)]
is there a different excersise then meditating on it or saying 'thoh' to open the third eye? cuz ive been doing the thoh thing and it dont work for me. ppl keep confusing me. some say with an open third eye, you cant see spirits and some say you do. ppl say it doesnt make you psycic, some say it does. i guess it depends on the person....?
well my third eye is open and I get things like I see the future so much that everything is deja vu. I have seen ghosts once. But mostly I get either dreams of the future or waking visions, especially warning visions. I also have some psychic abilities but do not know if that deals with the third eye. As far as telling you how I opened up my third eye, I have no clue. It's always been there since I was a little boy and has been over active. I have no control out of any of those abilities and is all random. I have read an over active third eye can lead to imagining things but everything I see or feel is really what is going to happen or the person has had that happen/felt that emotion. Hope that helps some.
could someone pls explain how to open thier third eye....cause i have looked all around on google and ask jeebs and could find anything useful
and i even looked at and tryed doing the auras on the guides section...and nothing happened after a week of trying hard...
Dark, it can sometimes be more than a week. many have practiced for years for the third eye and still havnt got it. you just need more practice.
when I opened mine(i'm working on opening it up again)
I just focus on the spot and feel it open as an eye, then I clear it using various cleaning techs and then I shoot a ray of purple light out of it and spread it out in all directions as far as i can. I did this evry day over the summer and in 1-2 weeks i could see with my eyes closed and pretty much walk around like that(except people think i'm either weird or crazy when i do so)except i always seem to have warped depth perception
the third eye... you know what the problem is? people think too much about it, like if it was something that you conquer, you may open it... but if you are not ready it will close in some time... and the results are too many to list, everyone says they see something different, with me, i didn't really see anything i can believe, i started to feel things... something im not ready to talk about, and it wasnt really positive. (im not sure if what i did was opening the third eye... i really dont care, i just pratice energy work and i know that if something is going to happen i wont force it)

THE DAMN TRUTH IS THAT WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR PSYCHIC CENTERS YOU ARE ABLE TO "PULL" AND "PUSH" ENERGY.
Damn truth?? It's not all just about pulling en pushing, but it is about energy yes. But what happens when the third eye is openend, differs a lot. But eventually will give the same possibilties, all having something do with seeing in what way ever. You can always train something in atlease 2 different ways. Like you can concentrate on it or you can concentrate on what you can do with it. Or you can just start cleaning yourself over and over so the third eye 'recoverse', but so will all your psychic abilties. That is spiritual growth.
A great way to test your third eye's status is to visualise someone's face and see in detail how good you can see it. Or imagin a beach and the sun, the better en brighter you see it, the clearer you third eye sees.
An onther good method is to look at an object and imagin how it would feel. This actually is easy for most people. Having done this for a while, i can now feel what people are doing behind.

I've looked for the answer to this question everywhere and couldn't find it. Would anyone please share their experiances of what they have achieved with an open third eye in depth? I would really appreciate it, and I have seen other posts on here asking the same questions.
Someone answered this question before and said that 'it allows you to see truth', which I don't really understand so if anyone could explain it, thanks. I'm still in the process of opeing my third eye but don't know how long it will take or what to expect when it does open.
