What does it mean?

I've always been drawn to earth-colors such as maroon, orange, tiger and yellow. In special, high energetic states I simply seem to vibrate these colors at a higher saturation. In general I am quite energetic, not lacky at all, rather jumpy. I love the other colors and combinations too but I am just not so innerly drawn to them as much as I am drawn to these earth-colors.

What bothers me is that in the physicality of colors, yellow, orange and red represent low frequencies and green blue and purple are high frequency/short wavelength. It seems to all come down to orange with me.
Sometimes this gives me a feeling of being lower or less than people whose dominant color is green, blue, purple etc.

Do you believe it is necessarily so?

Being drawn to earthy colors is no reflection on who you are are what you are.

The base chakra is where your real power is to be found., we could call it the seat of the soul within the body.

Each color is only a portion of the spectrum, all of which are found in White. So if we considered that most of your body is Water, then it would seem appropriate for White Light to be spread out into the spectrum.

Have no concerns Tiny, you are a valued and honest person. It is those things that are important here, the colors you may be attracted to, or the at times dominant color within the aura is of little importance. The Aura changes constantly with thoughts and feeling, etc.

Hm you are the first one I've seen saying that aura colors reflect little about oneself.

My closeness to red/orange/yellow has followed me all my life just like a friend has been drawn to blue all his life. I'm actually not sure if it relates to the chakra system but I do believe that it reflects something of significance about oneself. It may relate to past life content.
I don't feel undervalued, I just want to know what in me is different from those who are drawn to blue, or green.


I am about to buy some necklaces with lots of gemstones on them, of colors reflecting my sympathy for the lower spectrum, what do you think - will carrying those have a strong impact on me? I would hope not.

Red has always been my favorite color for as long as i can remember. This is the color of the root chakra which corresponds to the physical plane and physical needs, which is kind of weird since I spend a lot of time studying non physical reality and spiritual needs. But then again I do study mathematics and science as well which are physical attributes. So who knows...

That's why I tend to believe now that this has little to do with our chakras...It is just too constant for this and I think it might have to do with something on the soul-level.

I also think that it is plain wrong to associate these lower spectrum colors with aspects of lower forms of awareness such as worldly desires, sex, business etc.
