I try to practice every moment to increase awareness.. to watch what i'm doing. If i'm conscious enough and my mind comes in without me wanting it to, I tell it to shut up. Sometimes I swear at it: "Shut up you f*cking tw*t".

What I usually do is grounding in the morning and just like KP try to raise my awarness at all times. Something I've always been big on is shadow boxing. Almost every day I reopen my third eye. The third eye becomes very useful. Weapons training is good if you have any weapons make sure to charge them so you can whack a pesky spirit[B)].
For ki training I usually convert my ki into jing and(I am sorry tree huggers) Fire Jing blasts at the trees... I swear they started it.
My schedule is like KP's where I just practice any time and all the time with my awareness because the best training is continuous training so that your body because use to the training so you can put another energy weight on the bar.[;)]
i practice TK, PK, KI at 12.00 Pm - 15.00 (not 3 hours long but between that time).. and at night i train only on KI ( sometimes i forget it .. School, computer etc)

I mean like when you are working how do you train in increasing your awareness. What methods do you apply to increase your awareness. And how much does it help.

I try to Raise Energy a few times a day a for a 2 to 5 minutes at a time. When I dont need my full attention. I am raising energy as I type this, since energy raising, once started needs little supervision for a while. (specially if you just raise it up your legs only).
At night I do some NEW work and chakra stimulation. Since I am currently experimenting with self hypnosis in order to create an automatic trigger for LD and OBE, I also do that before I go to sleep.
I try not to over do it. I probably spend about an hour or so a day in total (not counting whatever goes on during sleep). I believe in balancing everything else; i.e. spiritual, physical, emotional, intelectual and professional. If I spend to much effort in one thing, it means I'm not paying attention to something else. I believe in balanced stregth. If something is lacking it becomes a burden. The weakest link theory. Progress may be slower in each particular area, but the growth of the whole is strong and sustainable.

I do some energy rising everytime I go to bed, and activate some of my chakra. i have been doing this for 2 years now and as soon I as lie on the bed, my energy starts to activate automatically.

one relly good thing is to raise feet and legs while sitting by the computer. i have done this for some weeks and my body start doing it without me noticing sometimes. i just let my feet lay wide open on the floor, in the beginning i stimulated some, but now, it just comes, as for many. if i have some time by the computer before i go to sleep my energyraising seems to become stronger too. so the computer is not only for the intellect.
i train breathfocus meditation 20 to 30 minutes a day to quiet my mind and NEW when i feel like and when i go to bed. the rest is just like waves. sometimes im so interested and train alot an sometimes very little. its good to have some base to fall on when the inspiration is away.

I started Ki traing about 3 months ago and I have done none since two months. Day before yesterday I started doing meditation and NEW from 6am to 7am.
I would like to know what is your training schedule and what do your train in?
