I want to know where exactly is the third eye located. Some say it is located
exactly between the forehead
Shocked and some say it is between the brows.
I dont know the exact location.
Waiting for your answers .

They're between the eyebrows, just like 1 cm burrowed under the skin.  You can DEFINITELY feel it, its not imaginatory at all.  For me at least, the best way to describe it would be like having 2 thumbs pressing against your top of nose/eyebrow region, n then eventually they make circles under your skin (theres 2..).  The circles get smaller, then vibrate REALLY hard for a couple secs, then enlarge, smallen, vibrate.  Even though I knew what the third eye was, the first time I actually felt such a strong sensation scared me pantless, it was crazy.  Hope that answers your question.

I made a thread about this a while ago. Some of the posts are lost to the forum backup done a while ago, but at least some of the most important is still there : http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18743

Short summary : It seems like the 3rd eye chakra is in fact 5 chakras working together. One in the middle of the forehead, one below between the eyebrows, another above, and 2 more a few centimetres to the sides.

When I get more experience with this I might be able to tell for sure  :D

That seems exactly right!  It's never just 1, but a couple sensations.  Heh, just wanted to let u know.

I do believe that the '3rd' eye refers to the pineal body in the mid brain area and not the pituitary and the relevant chakra correspoding to it.

They are physically close to each other, in my experience distinctly different though.

It seems that there is not just 1 third-eye so how do u open them all.

mine is constnatly active... it rests between the eyes in the little indent/crevice right at/under the skin

and id say focus on that point... or at the point where the hindus put the red-dot ... when i get strong sensations it feels like energy is rapdily pouring into that spot ...

actually focus inbetween the eyes... thats where i focus when i want to say hello ... once u get that spot then the crown + moving it around should come easy (from my experience)

and yeah it moves around...u can control it.. going to the temples...around t he eyes..up the forhead ... down the nose yet it never likes to stay down there and it takes effort to keep it down .. kinda like trying to stay underwater with floaties

when i was first trying to see auras I was concentrating on seeing the aura when i got this crazy vibration between the brows.  It lasted five minutes probably and was intense.  I had never had that before and havent since but for me that was a verification that there is something there that can be activated.

There is really only one 'third eye'.  There are lots of myths concerning that function, and the 'opening' per se of the 'third eye'.

It is not a common experience at all.

There are some meditations and activities that, depending on the individual, will produce physical sensations between the eyebrows.
Most of those experiences are not the opening of the 3rd eye.  More properly there are stimulation's of the chakra and the related gland called
the pituitary that are responsible for many of these sensations.

From what I understand it is a good idea to balance the all of the so called chakras and each in turn will bring greater insight and strength of the inherent powers of each of those chakras.

Eventually you  will reach your goal.

Third eye chakra seems to be the projection of the pineal gland which is situated in the geometric centre of the scull. Another projection or operation space of the pineal gland projects above the head. Contrary to its middle of the forehead projection which operates during the waking hours, the spot above the head comes into play after one has fallen asleep, in sleep paralysis.

The pineal gland works like a trapdoor through personality can slip out into the energy body. It is similar to the solar plexus which is situated in the geometric centre of the body. Along with the root of the neck both are part of the OBE-specific triad. Concentrating on the member of this triad promotes implosion into the energy body, OBE.

On the other hand, the chakra that projects to the space between the eyebrows is associated with the waking state, the here and now. This spot seems to be the projection of the thalamus / pituitary gland (upper dantien) at the first place. Along with the middle of the chest and abdomen (middle and lower dan tiens) the brow chakra is part of the in-the-body (IBE) triad. The IBE triad's neuro-anatomical substrate is the reticular formation of the cortex, thalamus and brainstem. I also call this triad as "autopoetic triad" as well because it can be focused trough inner vibration, noises and (entopic) lights.

This is only my opinion of course, but getting stronger as the years go by.
