I have a few things I want to heal/change with the NEW system, but I would like input on which to do first and how to do it. I have...
Cut scars on my chest and stomach
Stretch marks on my underarms, stomach and hips
Nearsightedness
I tried healing all at once, every night, doing wraps and everything, but I'm not noticing a lot of results. I would like instead to focus on one at a time, to better direct my energies towards a single goal.
What do you think? Should I pick one of these three, or keep trying them all?
Thanks,
Chris
Healing isn't easy or particularly common.
Once I worked for sometime with Jin Shin Jitsu -- a healing art like Reiki and all that other stuff. I actually worked with some of the most renown healers in the discipline. There are some useful things I learned, but I never saw anybody heal a chronic ailment.
One of the greatest healers I ever heard about was this Mexican who worked in Southern Texas back a few centuries ago. His name was Don Pedro. There is a shrine to him in Falfurrias, up from Brownsville. He had a fascinating history. Back in Old Mexico, when he was young, he developed a huge infected abscess on his nose which induced a high fever and for weeks he hung close to death. And he prayed to be healed. An Angel appeared to him and told him that if he were to be healed it would require that he be given the Gift of Healing which it would be his duty to take up fulltime. He consented. He became a travelling healer and would travel the same triangle over and over again, with sick people collecting at the closest of the three points. There was nothing he could not cure.
There is a cute story told by a Scottish Lady who wrote a book about him. One of Don Pedros methods of healing was to tell those with fevers to spread out their ponchos on a pond and float out to the middle of the pond on them and nap for an hour and then paddle back, and they would be cured. The Lady was amazed at the 'miracle of the floating ponchos'. The Mexicans wondered 'what miracle?' The Lady had to show the people that ordinarily a poncho would simply sog down and sink if you tried to float on it like an air-cushion. These Mexican's never sported in water and had no idea they were performing miracles by using thin cloth garments as rafts, and were astounded to find they could not do again what was so easy to do in compliance to Don Pedro's instructions.
So, yes, although Healing is possible, it is very rare. Even a Doctor once told me that nobody is 'healed' -- they either 'recover' or die, but all diseases simply run their course. Certainly their are exceptions to that grim rule, but not many. Indeed, in every Religious Tradition, not much more is required to become the Highest of Saints then to be a reliable Healer. And look how few Saints there have been.
That poncho story is very neat.
As for the question, I'm not sure what's psychically easier or better to do first... but I'd go with the stretch marks. I've talked to people before and I know they can be very painful. They normally come from gain a lot of weight or muscle at once, or putting too push pressure on certain points. They can also come from people who lose a lot of weight who have skin hanging, then cut off, and the remaining skin stretched... I'd fix that if possible, then onto the scars, then nearsightedness. Even if nearsightedness may the most functional limitation, people with glasses are COOL!

Sorry, but this is just a lie. If you did not saw/experienced a healing, it doesn't mean that it is rare or difficult. I've healed myself from asthma using NEW, meditation and magick. It was not hard at all, and now there are only minor blockages left. And remember that I don't have any "gift of healing", and I don't need it to heal myself. Also praying to angels/God is not necessary, they will take more than give, but if you want to make yourself dependent on someone then give a try. Only problem I've encountered is that scars cannot be healed by NEW, and stretch marks were also impossible to heal for me.

A LIE!
It is my Life Experience!
I concede that there is SOME healing, but you call me a LIAR because I maintain that it is EXTREMELY RARE. How dare you!? Look around yourself at the thousands of healing workshops and the thousands of healing prayer groups and tell me that more than one person in 100,000 is ever given more than a 72 hour respite from the Placebo Effect.
But you think that you own instance must make me a liar. Hmmmmm. Are you REALLY cured or are you simply being very careful not to trigger a new attack. Are you really healed or are you just tippitoeing around it?
You'll find out what a liar I am the next time you start gasping for air!
Healing workshops and prayers won't help. But this does not mean that NEW is not effective. Many persons just don't have willpower to train 2 hours per day, and just talk about not having any effects. How could I try not to provoke asthma attack? Before it came every night, and now I don't take any medicines, and I have maybe two attacks per month, only when I am extremely sick, and don't do energy work. Even when we had grain harvest asthma did not bothered me, and I worked wery hard. I've told you that you lie, because not having/seeing something doesn't disprove it's existence, but having/seeing it proves it's existence definitely. Of course NEW won't fix everything, and to clean some energetical blockages hundreds of hours of meditation, and complete control over emotions/thoughts are required. If you would have to spend EXTREME amount of money on medicines that won't help you and can only lessen your problems somewhat, you would quickly change your belief system to allow self-healing. If you don't believe that many people were healed by NEW, then e-mail Robert Bruce, and ask him, if your ego will let you do this...
And PLEASE don't discourage others from trying to improve their lives...
Umm... I used to have asthma and it pretty much just went away on it's own. I guess it depends on how related you felt it was to your training. While it could be a coincidence, if the decreases were in sync with breakthroughs, then that may have been it.
By the way, like the named Doom 2 rules!

I think that it is not a coincidence, because when doing NEW I've had felt pain in chest area, that was from energetical blockage that was related with asthma. When asthma disappeared I've had really strange vision probably from my past life(I've died in it...), and the pain in chest disappeared.

You are the first one on this forum who noticed this :D
It was one of the best games I ever played.....
My first lucid dream (I believe it was lucid) was with Doom 2, I used to play it endlessly.
Leo, may I ask who tutored you in what lineage of Jin Shin Jitsu, and would you please translate the name of this art into English?
Thanks Leo for the story and your concern (because I know that's why you wrote), and Cac, you big mouthed, red faced fireball spitter, for the vote of confidence.
I had a feeling the scars would not go away easily. I have used NEW to make two lesions on my right tonsil disappear, along with the unbelievable pain it caused with every meal and drink, and every time I swallowed. And this all happened in one night while I was still learning the system, too, after a week and a half of me suffering with it.
I thought if I could heal lesions, then I could heal scars as well, but it seems that the two are two different types of problems... one is medical, the other cosmetic. One is caused by an energy blockage, the other by purely physical trauma.
But it's nice to know that disease doesn't stand a chance against me and my powers now! (I've always wanted to say something like that)
No need to worry about me either. I'm the most stubborn guy in the world when it comes to things like this. If the whole board told me scar healing was impossible, I'd still try it.
However, I made the decision to wrap, cure and heal a single, tiny white scar instead of the whole chest. Such a little nick should be no problem to NEW away, and it will build my confidence to strike the main ones next.
At the same time, the energy bonus NEW offers is very, very real. Just 5 seconds of the leg => base chakra work makes my legs all tingly, and I sometimes... just sometimes, I actually ENJOY going to school after doing it. Gasp of shock and horror!

Dear XenXheng
Well....
If my premise is still to hold up, then YOU must be somebody in the Order of Don Pedro. Did I remember to tell you... that he was able to heal the terrible absess on his nose, which was almost fatal, but he never was able to fix the resultant scar -- all the little statues of Don Pedro come with funny marks on the nose.
Perhaps Life Experience has made me too cynical. I have worked with famous healers that come highly recommended, and though they could bring a temporary ease or aliveate symptoms for a time, I have never seen a chronic illness actually cured. In the spiritual circles I've traveled in, I have never become acquainted with a major healing. It just seems that people either recover as people sometimes recover, or they die.
The only exceptions are healings from healers who have the Gift. Techniques hardly matter. For a Healer it is only a matter of exerting the Will through whatever way seems to make sense for the moment.
For instance, Mary Birkmeister, of Jin Shin Jytsu fame... she teaches a technique but can hardly hold herself to it... she is always changing and evolving it. I get the impression that she, in fact, doesn't need a technique. That she is a Healer and anything she would do would heal.
Don Pedro, Sai Baba of Shirdi, Mary Birkmeister, and all the Healing Saints typically were able to perform their cures with whatever presented itself as handy on the scene.
Anyway, congratulations... you are a Healer. As for anybody else reading over our shoulders -- I recommend that you complete whatever Spirit Quest you envision. One the Spiritual Goal is sought and found, I suppose healing comes quite of itself. Not many Saints started out wishing to become Healers,... it was something that presented along the
Way, or perhaps on the Way Back.
About scars: you should give a try. Perhaps you could also use magick to heal them?

Order of Don Pedro? What is it?

:) My Spirit Quest has probably nothing to do with healing, from what I know now it is to create one of the best computer games ever, and please don't laugh, there are many ways to express yourself, not only the traditional art, etc. Healing was possible because I don't believe in limitations, and asthma was too annoying, so I tried to do everything I could to heal it. Of course I would never go to any kind of healer or pray for healing. I would not learn anything this way. And healers cannot help with chronic illness, because not only energy work, but also strict control of mind and hours of meditation are needed.
Maybe you are following right hand path too strictly?
Quote from: CaCoDeMoNOrder of Don Pedro? What is it?
Well, there is no formal Order of Don Pedro... what I meant was to be of the same sort as Don Pedro... but thought the ambiguity was cute... not thinking that anybody would pick up on it.
But Don Pedro was one of the best healers I ever heard of. I wish there was an online site I could refer to, but his shrine is supported by mostly poor Mexican Americans in Falfurrius Texas. To buy a book about Don Pedro I suppose you actually need to go to town, find the Shrine and buy the book.
The Shrine itself is impressive. People leave photos of themselves so that the Spirit of Don Pedro can heal them. Often they have no other photo on them and so they actually leave photo ID's like Drivers Licences and the Photo pages of their Passports.
It is remarkable he is still remembered. .... Oh wait... I did find this blurb online:
JARAMILLO, PEDRO (?-1907). Pedro (Don Pedrito) Jaramillo, curandero or "faith healer," was born of Tarascan Indian parents near Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, in the mid-nineteenth century. He moved to South Texas as a young man in 1881 and settled on the Los Olmos Ranch, in the area of what is now northern Brooks County. He related that when he was still a poor laborer in Mexico he suffered an affliction of the nose. One night he was in such pain that he went out into the woods to a pool of water. He lay down and buried his face in the mud at the edge and remained there treating himself for three days. When he had cured himself he returned to his house and fell asleep. A voice awakened him and told him that he had received the gift of healing from God. He began his practice as a faith healer almost immediately, prescribing the first thing that he thought of and making no charge for his services. At that time the only doctor between Corpus Christi and Laredo lived in San Diego; therefore, Don Pedrito's powers were often sought. At first he treated only close neighbors, but soon he began visiting ranches throughout the region between the Nueces River and the Rio Grande. Dressed as a Mexican peasant, wearing heavy shoes, a sombrero, and a cowboy vest, he either walked or rode a donkey on his healing missions. As his fame spread, an increasing number of patients came to his home. Most were poor Mexican Americans,qv and often Don Pedrito would provide the remedies he prescribed. He constantly received money through the mail in the form of donations, usually in the amount of fifty cents or a dollar. He made generous donations to several area churches and to the constant stream of poor people visiting his ranch. He bought food in wagonloads and kept his storeroom well stocked. More than $5,000 in fifty-cent pieces was found at his home when he died. Don Pedrito never married, but he adopted two boys. He died on July 3, 1907, and was buried in the old ranch cemetery near Falfurrias. His resting place has become a shrine and is visited by several hundred persons yearly. A biography of him, Don Pedrito Jaramillo: Curandero, was written in Spanish by Viola Ruth Dodsonqv and published in 1934.
Awesome bio, Leo. Thanks. I'll keep your words in mind... and if I do become a rocking healer like Don, I'll make sure to share what I have with whoever needs it.
So, magic Cac? Sounds good to me. Usually when I want to fix a problem, I do it through 4 different methods at the same time. Often it leads to a solved problem, but no idea which combination of skills got me to the solution! Fine with me though!
So what do you think would be a good starter course on magic? Online, book, a thread here, or just a personal set of instructions from you to me?
Thanks a lot,
Chris

There are many ways you can do it. I think that the best magick manual is Initiation Into Hermetics by Franz Bardon. It can be downloaded from internet as e-book. You can also search for some info on chaos magick.
I've found that essence of magick is always force of will. I've discovered that the best way to manifest something in reality is to fall into trance as deep as you can, and just wish something happen. You should not visualize results, and you should not use negations - subconsciousness has problems with interpreting them correctly. Also you should formulate wishes like "I will be healed from ... in this month/year", or "I am being healed from ...", and not "I want to be healed ...". This is extremely effective method, and I get about 90% positive results(even with totally unreal things)
Thanks Cacodude. I downloaded the manual and am working my way through it.
This is actually the first time I typed two things into Google ("Initiation Into Hermetics" and "ebook") and have 9 of the 10 results come up with only one of the answers ("Initiation Into Hermetics").
Sorry Google... I found it and now I'm reading it. Nyuk nyuk nyuk!

"""Creating" Problem Defined
Every thought that every person has, all the time, commands a creative change in their life's experience.....
For example, have you ever:
Hoped a situation would get better?
Wished you were healthy?
Wanted to be happier?
Needed more money?
Tried to fix a problem?
The problem here, is that you may not have realized that you are commanding into your life, the experiences of hope, wish, want, need and try, and that such an experience, is the exact opposite, of what your were desiring/expecting...."""
Dear XenXheng
The most direct access you have to Real Magic is through Dreams and through the Astral.
You already have access to Healing which means that you have some sort of Angels already with you. Simply let your Angels know that you wish for Spiritual Advancement.
A thousand books won't do for you what one important dream can.
Do you have Bruce's book "Astral Dynamics"? If you could become proficient enough to Astrally Project every once so often, then Gating into the appropriate Astral Realms would certainly be valuable experiences.
But if you do want some background study, the proper venue would be the Study of Saints, not magicians. Probably the best intro would be "Autobiography of a Yogi" which presents snippets about both Hindu and Catholic Saints.
Hi there,
Yep, positive, straightforward feelings is what I'm going for.
I've only projected once or twice with the help of William Buhlman's "Aventures Beyond the Body," so my experience there is rather limited. The one I remember best is my first one, which involved a quick teleport to my ceiling, flying out my window and seeing my city below, and drifting slowly towards the ground before waking up.
It was kind of cool seeing Mr. Bruce mention the "flying then slowly descending" thing in his projection treatise. Apparently it all goes back to a problem I know I have, which is a lack of thought control. I live my life in a daydreaming haze a lot of the time, especially during school hours!
Aside from that, I've felt the vibrations many dozens of times, but figured fear or lack of experience kept me from leaving the body those times.
Since I'm starting up practice again, though, I'm hoping for success very soon!
