yes in another reality everything may be possible, but this physical realm clearly has its limits. You sure can extend these limits if you work hard on it, but make sure you are not following an illusion or your peronal ego-trip. This would be a total waste of time (not really total, as you can learn from it!).

Everyone has different beliefs regarding reality. The way I've always understood it, the physical realm has certain limitations that non-physical reality doesen't. Some things may just be impossible here. Notice I said "may". I don't know for sure.

BTW, why does it seem like a lot of people here are so enthralled with japanese anime like DBZ?

Ok look here's my opinion on this all...

Nobody wants to see a show where the things that happen are always invisible.  Especially the coolest part of a show.  People like anime because it gives them somebody with superhuman abilities (or just alot of money *COUGH BATMAN COUGH* (Boy i should get that cough checked out)

I was thinking today about impossiblities.  And how nothing is really impossible.  If you have the slightest glimmer of doubt hidden in your brain about what you are going to do, it won't work.  You have to read about it and PROVE to yourself that there's a 100% chance you can do it.

Yes, I did just say you can do it.  I know many others will reply to this, but hear me out, I mean I put a lot of thought into this.  Think about the first time you went on a roller coaster.  You most likely had a million questions about the ride.  Can i fall out, what's it feel like, what's gonna happen, etc.  Your parents would most likely answer the safety one, putting your mind at ease.  This would lead to you riding the ride, and loving it.

Same goes with impossibilities.  Except that things that have been deemed impossible are set in our minds as NOT POSSIBLE!  Getting that out will be very hard.

Well, DBZ techniques may not be possible, at least no one can do   it.  Instead of waste time on it.  Should we just talk about thing that is possible and may possible to perform.

As far as the limits are concerned then even the physical plane has no limits.

Centuries ago everyone knew that the Earth was flat and that was the limit. Decades ago everyone knew that the Earth was round and the physical realm was the limit. Years ago everyone OVER HERE knew that the final plane is the limit. So hope what limit you will discover next. This will go on till everyone realises that there is no limit, just like the Universe.

You are right Khuli follower. The reality is much-much more mysterious than fiction can ever be.

Thus until and unless a person can explain why a technique can't be done, it cannot be stated as fake or unattainable.

So, whose gonna explain it next?

I am quite sure that anything is possible, but I also think it likely that if you are really bothered and would just love to have superhuman abilities, your level of consciousness might not be within reasonable grasp of said abilities. If you spent an entire lifetime, practising every day, you might be able to do something. Maybe.

Chaos magickians talk about creating chaos-sphere I think they are called. Ie manifesting floating balls which act as gateways between the dimensions and lots of other kooky stuff. But this could just be a device to get teenagers to gawp and go "hey cool I wanna go that I think I'll learn chaos magick". On the other hand, it might be real. Telekinesis is real. Dematerialisation and rematerialisation are real. And, if something can be done by anything at all, it can also be done with magick/the mind/whatever you want to call it.

You were also right about the word IMPOSSIBLE set up in our minds. You see from when we are babies and grow up we see our parents and other persons walk, talk, laugh and other things. That's the reason why we are walking and doing other stuff today. From birth a baby starts to see people walk and tries the same. He/She makes effort and within 6 months they start to crawl and within a year they can walk. Same goes with speech. Now if the baby had been seeing all physicic abilities and the people around using telekinesis, cryokinesis are other kinesis in everyday life then the same proceadure would have occurred in the baby's life to develop physicic abilities.

Why does this occur?

Simply because now the baby knows that it is POSSIBLE. The Baby knows that it can be done because he/she has seen it been done by everyone, so the IMPOSSIBLE word never occurs in it's mind.

Even in my opinion everything is POSSIBLE. It's just that a person has a doubt in his mind because he has not seen such an ability in common people. So the person always asks himself whether he wil be able to do it or not.

Until and unless a person can give a rational explanation to why something or some technique cannot be done, the technique cannot be said to be fake.

So as I said before, who's gonna explain it next?

Yes, everything takes it's time and even self-devotion is necessary.

Everyone in these forum discussions, says that such and such technique is not possible. Some say DBZ techniques are crap and I neither oppose them, because those techniques have never been done by any people, so the possibility decreases.

Now everybody gives a rational explanation of how a technique can be done, the technique beign such which has been successful with someone like telekinesis.

I believe that this reality is a dream and thus everything is possible.

So can someone explain why can't a DBZ technique or any other impossible seeming techique be done?
