Post by: Karxx Gxx on November 10, 2011, 17:05:56
pretty much the topic. Idr if i posted this before, so sorry if i did :/

I really want to awaken it, but not yet. Scared itll be premature (im 16)
Anyways yea, If so (or if you just know about it) how did YOU Achieve it (or do you know to if you havnt yet).

How does it feel?

What have you done with it?

How long?

Did it teach you anything?

Is it painful? scale 1-10 and you can put a time period of when the pain happened (ex: first awakening)

And anything else that is very interesting about it. thanks

I think most of us here have 'awakened' Kundalini, but that is different than a raising.  I think what you're afraid of is a raising, and that is where the traumatic experiences arise.
QuoteAnyways yea, If so (or if you just know about it) how did YOU Achieve it (or do you know to if you havnt yet).

A K awakening feels as if your reality has shifted, as if you 'understand' reality to be different than before.  I don't mean mentally, but a matter of how you fit in with reality.  It's hard to describe.  But any peak experience (epiphany, theophany, peak experience, etc.) all describe a K awakening.  IMO.

QuoteWhat have you done with it?
I consider it a side effect of practice and study, so I just practice and study more.

QuoteHow long?
My path is lifelong- while I live I'll practice.  I consider life to be the path, so it's all part of the journey.  See?  There's no satisfactory way to describe it.

QuoteDid it teach you anything?
Life has, it's all been for education, whether consciously or unconsciously.

QuoteIs it painful? scale 1-10 and you can put a time period of when the pain happened (ex: first awakening)
Not for me, but it's been weird.

QuoteAnd anything else that is very interesting about it. thanks
Realization, peak experience, a sense that the world is sacred, energy awareness, dreams and visions of snakes, the feeling something is flowing up your central channel (more central than the spine, but more or less).
A full raising or rising is a lot more traumatic and people do sometimes report more dramatic effects.
I do lots of energy work for just in case it happens, it's not bad, but I'm certainly not doing anything to try to make it happen.  He-eh-ll no.

The Kundalini is described as a serpent coiled 3 1/2 times on the muladhara chakra (the root chakra), with the head facing downward.

Awakening is when the head raises. Raising is when the body of the serpent raises through the spinal column.

With the term "awakening" many times people associate simple Kundalini phenomena, but Kundalini phenomena are like consciousness phenomena, i.e. everything is Kundalini phenomena.

It depends

A) on the individual
B) on the chakras touched by the raising. Every chakra has associated a certain "siddhi" (power).

However a raising of Kundalini is usually associated (well... always) with powerful Spiritual experiences, so you usually cannot care less about those "siddhis". One of the Siddhis is, btw, fully conscious AP.

So you can get Kundalini raising by doing any spiritual things? Such as qi gong or NEW. Or do you have to have purpose intentions to get it, like techniques specifically designed for a raising.

Before Kundalini can raise some "blocks" must be removed. Qi gong or NEW or similar practices removes those blocks by and by*. They also serve as indirect methods to raise the Kundalini.

When the blocks are removed there are also direct practices to raise the Kundalini. Kundalini is associated to sexual energies, so these direct practices are usually meant to stimulate and transmute them.

*These are the safer methods but they require much time, it is a long process . There are much faster but much more dangerous methods to do the same. The former methods are simbolized by the chaste woman, the latter by the whore.

In all seriousness I would encourage all to be careful and not flippant with trying to awaken kundalini. Just let it rise naturally through spiritual practice.

It is the power as mentioned above that is stored in our lower spine...and through, divine mediation that is to say total devotion to god, through work on our selves, ie discovering our very nature and true being... clearing our selves of karma, guilt, letting go of ALL desire, rage, anger and living in a place of love and compassion for all beings and our selves ie self realisation of our own soul and our union and connection with god, strengthening and empowering our higher chakras we can awaken the kundalini naturally and safely and learn to master the energy.

It is often said that the limited human mind and consciousness is like the size of a cup full of water...in the ocean that is the consciousness of Christ that understands god.
So to expand our awareness to the size of the ocean we call upon the kundallini.

If your mind and body and spirit are not prepared then it can be like plugging in a small cable to the mains and somethings going to blow! what ever you have existing already with in you mentally emotionally psychically and spiritually, kundalini has the potential to amplify it many times...for better or for worse.

I was doing certain techniques...(not even much) and I could feel it rising and rising...dont get me wrong but it was amazing!! but also it can get out of hand, at times I felt mentally and physically invisible and then for a couple of weeks the total opposite it can be hard to deal with.
I can literary experience an organism in my body very quickly by just thinking about the energy...and still now even if I focus on the energy I can feel it rise..but im not going to let it, until I can handle it fully!! trust me you dont want to.

But the good news you can do it safely and naturally but it takes time, patients and love

Yes I agree with that.

Absolutly, some times its wonderful, sometimes a little too intense.
But any peak experience (epiphany, theophany, peak experience, etc.) all describe a K awakening.  IMO.

Yep, lots of snake dreams...

You must find out why you want to awaken or raise kundalini.
If its for siddhis then be carefull becase it Is said it will bring liberation to yogis and bondege to fools.

I sugest you find out all the info you can about kundalini.

I agree it will awaken and rise naturaly through spiritual practices.

What kind of healing ability do you want .  Physical healing or energy healing.

How does it feel?

Like electric current that you can direct to any point in the body.

Quote from: Kaje The Astral Newbie on November 10, 2011, 17:05:56
What have you done with it?

Healed myself.
Focused it on points of other people and have them write down where they feel any weird sensations.

Sure, it taught me how to communicate with my subconcious better.  And how to heal myself.

I've pushed myself to the limit with energy training, experiencing the worst pains. I remember it felt like my stomach was going to explode and I was on the toilet waiting to die. But that wasn't my "first awakening", in fact that was quite enjoyable. 1/10.
