that is why i'm STARTING energy in the first place. it sounds like you have the same exact thing that i do. how long has yours been going on for? mine's been going on for five months now.

You might want to get into reiki or the like. my friend (who is very into energy and is in fact registered in this site) did something like reiki that he figured out himself, and it healed me...at least temporarily. But that relief was so awesome for a few seconds, it was worth it.

Also, you might want to look into the Alexander posture method. I can't find exactly any therapy/posture tips about it online, but I suppose doctors would know about it.[;)] keep me posted on what helps!

There are people who treat ailments holistically and with non-Western techniques. You might try asking locally if there are any reputable acupuncture or acupressure healers in your area. This may be worth a try even if you haven't had success on your own (with the pressure points I mean).

Then, for day to day stress, meditation usually helps.

this is my personal approach to headaches, and i believe it can work for everyone:

just lie down, relax a bit (as much as you can with the pain).. then.. with the best attitude you can muster, just embrace the pain and feel it away.. instead of avoiding the pain, thinking "boy, this pain is annoying, i wish it'd go away".. concentrate on bringing the pain to the forefront.. after awhile, in my case, it'll go away..

hope this helps.. attitude is key.

weird. i've been having a different kind of headache for the past four to five months. mine are localized in the left side of my brain and it starts as a subtle pain and then shoots very fast to the back of my head. i cant stand it. the doctor told me it's just stress and tension and gave me medication for them. i guess that's understandable (parents divorce, numerous deaths in the family) anyways, it works but they always come back. i might just go see a neurologist.

i'm trying to get back to meditating every day. for relief from headaches using meditation, is there anything special i can do? (ie.. focus energy in a specific location?)

sublime: personally, i've tried even running energy up to the point where my headaches occur...but no matter what method i try or approach i take, energy just won't enter my head. so, rather, you could try that...but i wouldn't dwell on the thought that it would help.

I've been suffering from Nasty headaches too until
recently after I tried a monopolar magnet.

I pretty much am never without one. Sometimes I think it's sinuses, as they're often focused at sinus locations, sometimes they're migraines, sometimes I think they're tension - jaw tension, neck tension, and just all out tension. I'm sure part of it has to do with stress.

Anyway, I've tried a lot of different medications, and none of it seems to do much. Also, I'm not really a big fan of drugs if my life isn't threatened by my ailment. I know about pressure points for temporary relief, but again, that doesn't do a lot for me.

Any suggestions?
