It does sound like your technique is good. Just be careful not to drain yourself too much and if you drain yourself at all to raise your energy level again more so than it was before. Have you considered adding other energy systems to what you have learned, such as reiki, polarity, acupressure, pranic healing, or even working with crystals and their energy?

I have considered some of them, reiki inparticular. A good friend of mine is also a member here and we have been developing our energy systems together. When i did this to my girlfriend it was purely experimentation. My interest in the healing aspect of this wasn't so big before this. I was more into telekinesis etc...But i am going to read up more on Reiki. My friend has been involved a fair bit in Reiki and it is now seeming like a good astral branch to climb onto....So you think that it was the healing energy that did it?...

I didn't feel drained afterwards. I only did it for about 5 minutes total in about 3 different goes. But most of the energy i used i chanelled from the surrounding nature and pulled it through my naval chakra then passed it through my hands and into her.

Hey mate,
I think that there is a good chance that something happened. Based on the fact that she said it has never happened before. It could be due to the fact that she wanted it out of the way quickly and this caused a little "mind over matter" reaction.

Either way I think you are on to something here and if possible give it a try again. It is often most successful (from what I hear) when the healer is confident and not too much concentration stress is put on the healing session.

The situation you were in was probably a very casual one and no pressure was placed on you to perform a special "healing session."

Perhaps you can build on this experience from here and search for methods of healing. At least do some research as to what there is around. I know that Tom will recommend Reiki which seems to be a nice way to go.

Everybody has the ability to heal and I think you were on to something there with your girlfriend.

it definately was in a relaxed, no pressure mood. I didnt expect anything to happen, i just tried and i guess substituted concentration for emotion...Im not sure really.But the only way to be more certain is to try again, like you said.

Hey there everyone!
I just want to add that, guys, if your girlfriend is going through 'that time of the month', can you try do a similar thing to what i did? See if it helps. I think that maybe the trick is to follow the basic outlines that everyone gives, but to taylor it to your own way. Because I think that because YOU are channelling energy through YOUR body, it has to be a your own little personal touch that makes it work. Just an idea though. And gals, if any of you have experienced a 'short cycle' then just raise your hand and write 'I', or if your friends are going through 'that time' then can you give it a shot too?
Any input would be appreciated, and hey, you never know if it will do the trick and put you in the very good books with your girl friend or make one week a month a whole lot easier for you & your friends....

Hi All!

My girlfriend and I have tried to heal each other a couple of times now.

It all started back, when we worked on the NEW system by the author of this site, Robert Bruce.

We found, that by "helping" each other to activate the different small energy-receptors ind the hand and feet - doing it the same way Robert describes by "feeling" your finger (And actually rotating the physical finger too !!) on one of the hands rotate above the the others toe og finger. Pretty fast we both could feel, when that particular "receptor" were activated. (Felt a little bit like a stinging sensation in the tip of my finger). We could also feel "Cold" spots and Warm spots on each others bodies.

That's the start of our Healing-journey .... From then on, we just sort of "expanded" it from one finger to the hands, to use energiraising simultaneously with "healing". (Sort of like taking energy in through your feet with the basic energy-raising technicque, letting it pass over the battery in the stommick, and out through the hands).

I am concerned though. The last time we tried it, my Girlfriend had some problems with her stommick, and she stood up, and I placed my hands on the lower part of her body, and started sending energy through her. In a matter of seconds she got very pale, and got very dizzy, and her stommick got VERY lively. After a short break we tried it again, but this time I only managed to put my hands on her stommick, before she had to sit down. THEN we stopped !! ...

I tried it again to night, when she had pains from her menstrual cycle, and she felt again, that her stommick "came alive" (Started bubbling a lot!), and she got a little "dizzy". (A little bit like if you breath to fast for too long). I felt, that my hands and my feet got really cold. (The same thing they do, when I am doing Energy-raising in bed at night).

None of us has any experience in "healing", but we REALLY would like to help each-other the RIGHT way!!...

Does anyone have any experiences with HOW to actually perform the healing, when your "hands" are "turned on" ?? ...

What things do we need to be aware of ?? ... What is "safe" to do, and what is not so safe ?? ....

What is the difference between "easing" a pain, and "repairing" a part of the body (in terms of "Healing", and the technique used)... ??

A difference between her feeling and my feeling when it comes to manipulating these energies. I sort of feel some "cold" spots on her, and get very cold fingers and feet when I manipulate "energies" within my self. It is the other way with her - she gets very warm hands and feet, and feels more "warm" spots than I ??.

(I am also beginning to see/sence sort of "dark" spots on the skin - sort of blackness like a faint "shadow" or something ?!?)

A lot of questions ... I really hope, that some of you guys and gal's have some advice for my girlfriend and I ....

Hey there,
about 2 weeks ago I was with my girl friend and she was going through her menstrual cycle. She was typically in a lot of pain and I hated to see her like that.She was on her 3rd day of the cycle when we met and I decided to see if passing healing energy into her would help.I placed my hand on the lower part of her stomach and drawed in energy from the trees around me aswell as my own energy...I imagined the energy as healing energy and saw it go into her and heal her inside.That night the pains were gone and the cycle was over.She has never had a cycle that has passed so quickly. I was just wondering if it was actually me who healed her, or wheather the cycle was short due to hormonal changes (because we hadn't seen eachother for about 2 weeks)...?
Any input would be valued...
