I am suffering from hyperhydrosis. Those who know what it is, can i heal it with chi?

Tiago

I don't know exactly the functioning of this disturb, but I believe that it can be  caused by an emotional issue that makes you anxious, and your anxiety hyper activate the sympathetic nervous system - making you sweaty. Maybe you can help yourself with meditation, calming down your mind, making you more aware of your interaction with your body. And for sure, if there is a emotional issue, you have to work on that, if this is the case, you can't cure the symptom without curing the cause. If this makes sense to you, find a psychologist to help you understand your emotions and the situations that makes you anxious.

I wish I could be of some help, good luck!

If I'm not wrong that's an excessive secretion of acid in the stomach, isn't it?.

Ok, look for your astrologycal chart. Find out where your moon and mars are and what relationship is in between them two.

Moon rules digestion and mars the energy needed to do so. If they're in inharmonious aspects your digestion will be excessive. In my case it happens just the opposite, so I must eat little meals made of poor-fat foods.

The moon is equivalent to the Priestess archetypically speaking, and Mars for the Tower. So, calm down and summon them in your imagination. Talk to them and ask them for help on your problem. Repeat it until you receive a plausible answer.

From the viewpoint of your diet try to eat as much alkaline food as you can: fresh vegetables, raw fruit, herbal teas,... and avoid meat, eggs, milk (specially milk) and cereals for a week.

I understand my emotions. I fear critizism. I have axiety because I fear I will do something stupid and people will laugh at me. I guess meditation will help.

I'm also learning Reiki by the way.

I had severe hyperhydrosis when I lived in the big city, it was very annoying and embarrassing. I would just get around people and start to sweat non-stop, specially in school when I was around 17 years old. It was caused by too much stress.

Now on the country side I don't have that problem, I feel more on the control, though I can sweat a little when I'm around people that make me feel uncomfortable. I don't care much about it, besides it's hard not to sweat here in Brazil, I just walk away and leave the bad situation.

If your case is really bad there is a surgical procedure that  can solve the problem, it's really quite simple, consult your doctor.  Meditation should help you a great deal also.

Hey, I think you shouldn't avoid your problem and try to by-pass the situations that makes you feel anxious. Some people will go eternally trying to avoid some situations, but the problem will continue inside you, and as long as this question is inside you, you won't have a fulfilled life. And trust me, it is not good for anyone's health to live with an unsolved question in your subconscious. If I can give you a suggestion, and this is from my experience and from my heart, find some therapist that can help you, maybe a group therapy could help you very well. In the beginning you can be afraid like everyone else does, but don't be discouraged - nobody is perfect, accept that you need help, this doesn't make you worse than anyone else. Meditation can help some people lessen stress and anxiety, but in some cases it will only help you to be depressed.

Not really avoid, but don't feel forced to accept something that you feel is wrong and overwhelming.

I didn't mean that he need to accept a overwhelming situation. Look, I think it is not a good choice to avoid people. Of course it can be difficult to you to face some situations, but you can work this little by little with a psychologist, maybe a group therapy later as I said, and most important, learn to accept yourself as you are, and allow yourself to express your feelings, your emotions.

Good luck friend
