I think that you should begin with energywork. I've started with "New Energy Ways" system and it was excellent for learning to feel energy. Later it's not very good, but excellent for start.

Hi! It is fantastic that you feel drawn to healing. There should be more people like you! :)
There is LOADS of different healing types, peaceful warrior. There is reiki (and lots of different versions of this!), huna healing, hands on healing, spell work for healing, herbology, crystal healing, aura healing, healing with angels, vibration healing, colour healing... the list is endless really.
My suggestion is to surf the net on some of these topics and read up on a few to see what appeals to you - or you may know a little about some of those mentioned, and already feel drawn to one. Some involve attunements (like reiki), but many just require knowledge and practice.
I'm happy to give more information on any of the above mentioned healing techniques mentioned.
I don't think it is overly necessary to have to be involved in energy work to develop healing abilities. I know plenty of people who make wonderful healers, and do little more than meditate and practice their healings.
