I love the one about using Preparation H to cure baggy under-eyes. Even though I have heard it works, the little kid in me cracks up at the idea of taking something made for your butt and putting it around your eyes!

Honey is an incredibly substance.  It can kill just about anything.  This includes many "superbugs" bacteria that have become immune to conventional antibiotics.  It is also a very healthy treat as well.  It is believed that bacterial will not be able to adapt to honey treatments and therefore honey will always work.

It has to be unpasturized though.  Yes, I love honey.  It was used by the Romans to preserve some of their more important dead, (from the battlefield) until they returned to Rome....sometimes months later. You will never be able to eat honey on toast in the same appetizing way again.[:O] Honey runs a close second to garlic in my books.[]

I have heard some great things about honey. I watched a show awhile back that said that the Egpytians used it to treat wounds. So I would say that if bacteria has not adapted to it in several thousand years they aren't going to.

Question: Do I have to use the name brand? I am cheap and like to buy generic.

The higher quality you get the better but even the cheapest honey you can find is still very effective.  No name brands needed if you don't want to spend the money.  Here is a link with info on honey and down at the bottom it says that some honeys are better than others but all work well.

Sorry if I was not clear, but I did not mean name brand honey. I was talking about the name brands that are mentioned above like Gatorade, Colgate, Coke, etc. Does it have to be the name brand or will any toothpaste, etc work?

Another question, how do you know if your honey is unpasturized or not? I looked at my honey at home and all I could find on it was that it is 100% pure honey. It did not have anything about being pasturized or not.

This is interesting... I thought one should avoid vinegar when about to catch a cold because I read in one of my books that it "looks the thief in the house", in other words keeps the virus/bacteria in the system.
