This is a sad situation because it affects everyone in your family. Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to your brothers' alcoholism. People can be treated but they first must want to be. If your brother can get to the point where he is open to treatment, then perhaps some type of rehabilitation center (if one is available where he lives).
My career has been as a defense attorney in criminal law (public defender). Every day I see clients with drug and alcohol problems and it is very sad. Most of my clients are very nice people when they are not under the influence of a drug or alcohol.
Try the therapy/treatment option if that is available to your family. While I am no expert in astral matters, it seems that if that venue offers any help, it will present itself to you in good time.
Take care,
I don't know how astral projection could help your brother. My son is 29 years old and been an alcoholic since he was 16. I thought surely he was going to kill himself with his behavior. I got into Al-anon.
This has been a wonderful step for me. It has taught me to quit helping my son. I was only helping his addiction. You cannot help (and I emphasize the word help) an alcoholic. He gets no money. He gets in jail, he stays. He is on his own. He still drinks, but I will tell you this. He treats us with respect now. We have a decent relationship and he will admit to being an alcoholic which he never saw himself as one before. So, I'm hoping with his having some awareness now of his problem then on down the road he will seek help. I don't say a word to him about getting help-he is on his own. Look into Al-anon. It will be the best decision you ever made.
My brother has attended the Alcoholics Anonymous but he didn't change much. And I see that helping = feeding the addiction, it's a real problem.
He is not in jail anymore as they thought the incident wasn't of much importance. He was released today without having to pay a bail.
FlyByNight, sorry about your son, it's something that can actually affect anyone. Best wishes for you and him in this journey.
Thank you both for the concern and advices.
I'm very sorry to hear about your brother, addiction is a terrible thing.
Robert Bruce wrote this some time ago - best I emphasis that your brother might not have anything like this sort of experience, but it may help none the less:
"One example: I have been helping a friend suffering long term alcoholism, by teaching him Core Image work. After thirty days of hunting he stumbled upon several major core images, relating to the loss of his baby brother when he was ten years old. He treated these and, overnight, lost his urge to drink. The sight and smell and thought of alcohol now makes him physically sick. He went through a few weeks of depression and emptiness, but is now bouncing back and getting himself a 'life'. Its now been several months since he last had a drink. And lastly, this man's luck also changed considerably. "
Hope this helps....
peace
Rob
My brother is an alcoholic, how can I help him through astral projection?
What can I do on the astral level that might help him overcome this problem? Also, how can I approach him to show this different point of view, bring him to a more spiritual life.
My family has been doing alot to help him but he always end up drinking again and getting in trouble. Today he was arrested for street fighting and he aggressed the police officers and bit the doctor who wanted to give him some tranquilizers.
He's 45 years old.
