Don't pay too much credence to this, as i'm totally guessing. The onyl thing i can come up with that would make any sort of remote sense would be that the energy is looking for something to compare your bump with?
That might sound stupid, but it's the best i can do [:D]

Well i've been practicing self-healing for a little while with some results but i don't assure that i'm in the right.
I think that you might have the same problems on both feet, but it only made a bump on one because the prob is more advanced. By doing your healing, the energy was absorbed by the other foot which is starting to have the same thing, and the energy body is healing this foot first as it is still time before the bump appears (it's more urgent in other words).
My opinion :)

I would agree kalonek in that you have a problem with your right foot as well it is just that visual symtoms have not yet arisen.  Depending on what kind of energy you used in your healing it is very likely that it went to both feet.  I would not worry about the pain to much unless it continues at which time you should go and see a doctor.  I am not a doctor but I have been practicing with healing energies for quite some time and the analogy that I often use when talking to people with similar experiences to yours is the the pain you felt is a healing pain.  Just like if you were to wash a cut with soap if would sting or burn.  The pain is the cleansing of the negative aspect of the injury or ailment.  Hope you get better soon.

Thanks Euphoric, Kalonec, and Links!

You have all given me some good ideas. Especially because I am new at this, your input is very much appreciated. The bump on my foot has definately improved. I am continuing to work on learning Robert's NEW system, a little bit each day.

Bumps are often points of neg attachment. By drawing/sending energy to that point, you will be disrupting that connection. It might be trying to switch to the other foot, but thats only a wild guess. Try this: to rapido rapid awareness movements through that both toes, specifically the point of the bump, and see what happens.
Once I started going at a mole on my middle finger left hand, and another one sprouted on my elbow. So these things can move, but it takes energy to do so.
Anther possibility is to do with similarity - you cause an effect in one foot, it is mirrorred by the other. Try and do the same to both feet in the future maybe.

In the healing protocol for Spring Forest Qigong, one "heals" the spot on the uninjured side of the body first, then moves to the actual spot that needs healing. So if you have a good shoulder and a bad shoulder, the practitioner "heals" the good shoulder first. This perhaps creates some sort of resonance that draws the bad side to healthier function. The same sort of thing could have been happening unconsciously or automatically in your case.

Or something else. ;)

All the best,

Thanks all of you very much for your ideas. You are helping me to learn about this energy healing, and hopefully I will soon be able to cure this foot problem. My little bit of experience so far is confirming what you all are saying about needing to work on the same area on both feet. I am now starting to get some soreness in the same area of the opposite foot.

I have also started taking glucosamine and condriotin, which is a super herbal formula for joint problems. Tomorrow I am also going to get some moleskin and try placing some padding in strategic spots in my shoes. No point getting stuck in one treatment modality. I keep hearing good things about Qi Gong too. I gotta find out more about that.

Namaste,

I am a beginner at this and in fact this is my first post. I am still working on learning Robert's NEW system and am beginning to feel some energy moving about. So I decided to send some energy to a bump that I have on the outer side of my LEFT foot. The bump is about 21/2-3 inches back from the base of my little toe. I never knew there was a joint in this part of the foot till my doctor pointed it out, but there is, and my bump is actually caused by swelling of this joint. Anyway, about an hour after sending energy to this bump, I began listening to a Yoganindra relaxation tape. I fell asleep during the tape for about 40 minutes, and moments after I woke up, I got a series of nasty bolts of pain in the same joint on the OPPOSITE foot! This was serious pain too, like I was moaning and writhing around. Now this is wierd because I have no problem with the joint on my RIGHT foot. I rechecked both joints. The original bump on left foot is still there. Maybe a little better but hard to say. The right foot spot where I got the jolting pain seems fine and normal. So anyway, question: Why, after sending energy to the bump on my left foot, do I get jolts of pain in the exact same spot on the opposite foot?
