You're posting just for the sake of posting and making yourself heard. How about you try posting only when you have something worthwhile to say.

Reiki is Japanese. Literally translates as Rei - Universal, or of the universe, and Ki - lifeforce energy.

There are plenty of books an links on the web containing info on Reiki, but it is one of those things that if you decide its something you really want to do, there is no substitute for learning it directly through lessons from a Reiki Master. There is much about it that you cannot learn from books

Yes, I feel an overwhelming need for my name to be seen on a post.

Even so, I won't post unless I have something to say. That is something to say. It's not relevant, but it is interesting and perhaps a tad witty. I think my occasional intrusions of childish affiliations with immature objects is somewhat cute, it's cute whenever I view it in others in fictional Japanese (anime) cartoon shows with subtitles. It's a pleasantly refreshing change to modes like the one I'm in now where I use extensively long phrases to talk about things to show off my intense grammar, and then point out my psychological patterns in an attempt to seem in touch with myself when on the important issues I'm really not and sometimes I wonder if perhaps the 'modes' I get in aren't really me at all but a mask to make myself seem more interesting.

As for the main post, to be polite I'll answer, though it won't really help him much which is why I posted that meaningless association in the first place. No: I have no degrees in Reiki, I didn't know any even existed. As for experience with Reiki, if what I read about it exists, I think EVERYONE has had some experience with it, simply unconsciously in which they believed it to be other things. As for a conscious experience, thinking of the energy as Reiki, no. I do intend to though, as I've found several interesting websites on it on these very forums, which you too may have similarly found if you had taken time the time and energy to search for them. In an effort to save you the time of searching, and thus example myself as an ideal board member forum and thereby suck up to the moderators and other members mad at me, and admit that so they don't think I'm being manipulative, I will give you those links.

I was born with Reiki and then attuned to it later on in my life.  I've used it on many people in person and around the world.
