Hi daemOn,
Runlola had a great idea there.

I don't shield myself during healings, and this allows us to take the pain/problem/whatever onboard ourselves.  All I do is find a strong tree to pour the 'dross' into.. which is a grounding method the Guides showed me a few years ago.  And I have to say, I teach this simple method to my students and they find it works very well.

By shielding ourselves when doing the Work, we are not being fully open to the energies around us or that are available to us at the time.  So it doesn't hurt to carry the patient's dross a little before grounding it out of us.

For simple healings I feel the energy power-into my left hand as the chakra gets very hot, then it pours into the affected area and flows out into my right hand.  Once it is finished I simply see it returning to the Universe for conversion. This prevents the dross from being splashed onto the floor for others to walk through and pick up.

Love Always. [:)]

Barefoot in the backyard works well.  I have several healer texts, and they are always barefoot in the illustrations [;)]

i noticed that shielding i use in healing (VERY clear intent of not getting the others persons energy + energy shields with this intent) doesn't necessarily works, hence my question =>

what techniques of shielding do you usually use ??
