Sleepy after healing

I am new to this sort of thing and have been working on healing my boyfriend's headaches and tendonitis pain, minor things like that.  It always works well and the pain almost always completely disappears, but afterwards he's sleepy.

Am I somehow taking energy from him, or is this normal?  Maybe it's like when you get a really good massage and you're so relaxed that you want to take a nap.  But if I'm taking his energy away, I want to stop doing that.  I'm not sure how to tell.

Naiad when doing healing on a person let it be Reiki or any other energy healing.The body relaxes
and the heart slows down and it is mostly common for the person getting the treatment to fall asleep.
Please dont be afraid. If you were taking the energy from your boyfriend the pain would have got worse.

Thanks, I was hoping someone would say that.  I just wanted to be safe.  I don't have anyone to teach me so I'm afraid of making a big mistake.
