weird energy disturbance at the dentist

I am currently in the middle of several dental appointments for fillings.  :(  I have had 2 visits already, & when he was drilling, I experienced a very strange & unpleasant feeling in my solar plexus area. It's difficult to describe, but felt a bit like very intense 'butterflies' mixed with a sensation of pressure building from within. It was very difficult not to move about or make some noise, & took all of my self control to stay in the chair. It subsided after the drilling stopped.

Does anyone know what this might be, or how to avoid/control it next time?

BTW - I want to be clear that it wasn't the reslt of simple nerves - I'm not afraid of the dentist, and have no problem with the stuff going on in my mouth, and I'm not a nervous person generally. It's also never happened before this series of visits.  :?

Thanks Stephen - that's a great site!

I haven't read all the info yet, but just from the chart I can see that the teeth I was having filled correspond to the stomach & small intestine, which was where I felt agitated. It will be interesting to see if I get similar  reactions in other body parts when the corresponding teeth are filled on my next visit. :)

Big subject holistic dentistry. My knowledge is limited, but find it fascinating all the same.

You might find this interesting. A couple of months ago I had some minor dental treatment. Luckily it was only a replacement filling! All the same I still required a local anesthetic as the old filling needed to be removed etc.

Following the appt I decided to see if I could reduce the post treatment discomfort and speed recovery by trying a little directed energy work using NEW. I found that there was absolutely no follow on pain or discomfort after it wore off - considering it was an upper palate one and very uncomfortable when given by the dentist!

See how you get on next time!

Best,

Thanks Stephen. I haven't been practising NEW for long, so I'm not sure if it'll work as effectively for me yet, but I'll give it a try.
I was planning to have all my old amalgams removed & replaced with composites next  year, but the thought of enduring hours more of that horrid feeling was putting me off. It's nice to know there's potentially  a way around it :)

As far as I can see NEW seems to be a very effective energy system, even only if one has been practicing for a short time. With the same token use common sense and regard your use of NEW use as an experiment with self healing, and not as a replacement for dental anesthetic or analgesic pain killers etc. All well and good if you are Master Chi Gung whatshisface

I have also considered having filling replacements, and held off for the mean time. Make sure you thoroughly consider both sides of the mercury amalgam replacement debate before deciding to go through with getting composites. There is plenty of info and dis-info on the net on this subject so I will leave you to google away at your pleasure.

Best,

:)  nothing would make me pass on the anaesthetic, much as I dislike taking medications.   I hadn't considered using NEW as a replacement for painkillers, & certainly not at my present level of development.  I've always been intrigued by the reports on the use of hypnosis in anaesthesia too, but although I love the idea, I wouldn't trust  my mind not to sabotage things in some way!

The filling issue is just annoying, with all the conflicting info. It makes sense that it's not a good idea to have one of the most poisonous substances known in your mouth, but having said that I have no symptoms of mercury toxicity, so I'm not in a hurry (especially in view of my recent experiences with the drill :(  ). I've read reports of people (usually on healing diets, or fasting) whose fillings just fall out & the cavities heal themselves naturally. I wish mine would do that, but knowing my teeth, I'm not holding my breath!
