There was a time when the moon sign was more important than the sun sign. I would be a Pisces instead of an Aquarius by that standard. Then there is the rising sign. I would be an Aries, too, by that standard. These three things combined mean much more than the sun sign by itself. The rising sign is what other people see when they look at you. It represents the qualities you are developing in yourself in this life. Your sun sign is your identity / ego. Your moon sign represents your emotional life. The moon sign is considered feminine and the sun sign is considered masculine. There are ten planets, considering the sun and moon as planets. Some people even consider the earth itself an important part of the charts. Then there are asteroids and other small objects. Everything in astrology is part of everyone's natal chart. Feel free to use it.
Another thing to keep in mind is that other people can help you to balance your chart. Working with other people is a way of working with other sun signs, moon signs, rising signs, etc., and of being influenced by them. You do not need to do this alone.
Is it possible to use zodiac energies other than the zodiac sign you are from? Like, if you are Aries, can you draw energy from Capricorn, Pesces? I would love to hear how I can do that for I want to heal myself.
