Well..look at us!

Nobody cares about anything anymore. People are getting away with being total dipsh**s, when before they were disciplined into learning. Nowadays most people aged between 13-17 are going around being drug, doped up, and either making girls pregnant or being the girl who is pregnant. Nobody seems to give a damn about spirituality anymore, only pompous churches that only seem to be blocking the paths to spirituality and connection with whatever divine being Humanity has been seeking since the beginning!!

Nowadays, people only live to go to school, get a job, breed, then die. And the more we breed, the more resources we consume. If we ever become an interstellar race, we will go from planet to planet eating and eating, like some kind of swarm. As Agent Smith from The Matrix put it, we are no longer mammals, no, we are a virus - a disease.

Those of us who are philosophical, metaphysical, and actually believe that we have a higher purpose on this obviously doomed plane are labelled tree-hugging New-Age hippy idiots. Most of us are accused of being drug dealers. Some kids at school think I smoke pot just because they found out some of my earlier (and more idiotic) beliefs (such as the ki blast, yes, I was one of them). And that was a year ago, and they're still going at me.

Humanity is doomed to itself. Its killer will be not a god nor sentient being nor a virus nor a catastrophic meteor crash, but itself. Being the only species that would harm itself, to the extent of cold blooded murder, it makes you wonder why Humankind is such a great species. Perhaps less than a third of the human population gives a damn about spirituality and is willing to seek it out, or at least do some philosophy. I even had the notion of making a club at school for philosophy, but then I remembered that I go to a school which the majority of dumbf***s that go there are from the other 2/3 of the population - idiots, sheep, morons, materialists(ESPECIALLY, materialists), conceited bastards, just to name a few.

Where has the equality gone? Where have all the good things gone? The Black-Eyed Peas made a fantastic song about exactly what its name is, WHERE IS THE LOVE!? Well? Where is it? Where is the spirituality, the vital part of human essence that keeps some of us from being mechanical sheep, bent on following media portrayed illusions, buying materialist goods, destroying the world through their very existance. Where is the THOUGHT??.

I mean, people don't think for themselves anymore. They have retarded politians doing it for them! Look at freakin' George Bush. A dyslexic moron that got through school because of his family name and his family's big bucks. And when someone with real wisdom comes along, they shun them with retarded names like "freak," "dumbass" and even "gay."

Humanity = sheep. Humanity = idiots. Face it. People are stupid. There is probably only a MAXIMUM of 1/3 of the human population that is probably worth their existance here, who actually seek out higher purposes and actually contain some bit of WISDOM that so flourished centuries before. Why do you think communism fails? Because unwise greedy morons run the systems.

Shallow idiots running around proud of their Vodafones and pretty boots and skirts and BMWs, and when asked a philosophical question they take it literally and make it out as if YOU are the idiot.

So here's the big question? What on Earth is the cure? I mean, lately I've had bitter-sweet dreams of humankind being almost extinct, yet the aftermath was the greatest piece of existance you can imagine. And you know why? No more dipsh**s. No more sheep, and no more idiots. People were wise and people had respect and people actually strived for spirituality instead of money.

Thank you

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

No amount of rigorous training, sitting and doing nothing, and clearing one's mind can help a man who hasn't overcome his doubts.

The real problem lies with human beings as a collective group.  Individually, they can be anything they want.  They can strive for any goal, high or low.  Collectively, nothing much changes.  There is too much inertia.
The other problem is that emotion rules the decisions of the masses, not reason.  These emotions are usually negative - fear, anger etc.
The trouble with humanity 'swinging back' towards spirituality is the type of spirituality that will be pushed at people.  Typically it's been a prejudiced, intolerant set of beliefs that are usually set in stone - eg State Religions.  It's never worked.  It usually ends up creating massive inequality with some kind of priesthood.
What I am saying, is that humanity as a group never gets it right.

You

Wave pattern? Screw it, there's nothing saying we can't have both spirituality and materialism.

Do you think in the dark ages when people were starving and had nothing that they were spiritual? They didn't have time, they had to kill each other for food. Any visions they might have had were inspired by hunger.

Good point.

People look back at these time periods with a kind of romantic nostalgia, when in fact these were dark, barbaric times where the vast majority lived in poverty and misery.

I love humanity!!

Wow. That was really strange. Try saying that out loud and honestly mean it. You just want to laugh, don't you? It's so absurd.

How do you feel about humanity?

I feel that humanity in general is misguided, and has it's priorities way out of whack. But overall, you know, I feel that people are just doing what they know how to do and what they feel is right.
I'm not quite as down on humanity as I used to be when I was younger. I think a lot of that has to do with seeing myself in others. No matter who they are or what actions they perform, I can always see at least traces of everyone within myself... the ignorant, the wise, the saint, the sinner etc etc

Telos

I think humanity doesn't speak a common language.

Everything else is corollary.

Hey Fat Turkey, you're your name! Stop whining, I used to do that, now I try to see the beauty. You have liked things, even if it's fantasy. If the realit-y disagrees with you, make the realit become a fantas.

Quotejust embrace it all! humanity is what you make it...whining and pining wont help [] But it does relieve some pent up anger doesnt it?

Humanity is on a path that is should be on...dont think differently, everything will be clear in the end.

Love be with all,

There ya go! I have that same kind of view. You can't change the world, but you can change yourself.
