"May I always live to serve you and your crown"?????

Clearly I've been sadly remiss in my email etiquette!

Just James.

"If you email me again, I will kill you"

That one for spam.

why wait until they email AGAIN?

Thanks Paul,

That's quite a comprehensive list. I remember when I was India for about a month back in '91 asking about "namaste". When I heard what it meant I thought how cool that is! It was also explained to me that another interpretation was something like: "the spirit in me greets the spirit in you". Either way, it's a nice greeting. :)

You make a good point. I'll be right back....

the post below is my favorite way to end all emails, letters, phone conversations etc.  it never gets old.  i feel that it's very to the point.

yes sir, it would.  but it's not the 'hang up on you' that normally comes w/ a bad phone conversation.  as soon as i feel the conversation is coming to an end i just hang up.  i try to avoid all of that 'alright well i'm gonna go' 'ditto'  'i'll talk to you later' 'ditto'  'ok, bye'  'ditto'.

try it, you'll really like it.
