I think a good wa to find out what a soul can do is through practical exercises. Reading about things can only provide so much insight. That's not to say reading about things isn't a good thing to do, in fact it's one of my favourite things to do.
Just browse the forums to get an idea of what you think the soul can do. Explore ideas that intrigue you if you want to gain more information on them. There are tons of websites, books, and whatnot out there catering to just about any information you desire.

no, i mean... like, our souls can live in physical bodies, travel to other places, guide people, haunt people, why won't you tell me what you personally think our souls can do? you PERSONALLY.

Personally? I believe our souls can allow us to be a part of a universe that is far beyond that of the one that we live in, that we experience each day with our 5 senses. Our souls give us a connection to a universe of pure energy, a kind of subspace/superspace grid that ultimately is part of everything that we know exists in the universe we live in.

Exactly what you are able to do with the knowledge of this connection is entirely up to you. I feel the only thing that determines how much we can use our souls to work with this energy universe is our beliefs, what we think we can or can't do.

Lets say soul=astral body. A physical body is just a tool for evolution of the consciousness. Our consciousness seems to encode in our astral body (not 100% sure, but quite sure). Astral body cobtains unimaginable amount of information for everyday healings, intellectual process, information transfer, psychic abilities, cells rebuilding....etc... Let's look it this way, the physical body is a hardware and the astral body is the software. I am just over-simplified analog just to let you to understand.
