Scientists "prove" DNA can be repgroammed by words and frequencies?

First time i seen an article like this. Is it a legit research? I think it's pretty damn amazing find.

For some people who work with Magick & Sorcery this is nothing new to them. I'm iffy about it though, because I cant really find scientists admitting into anything like this..At least not so soon.

I read a very similar article (a joint project between linguists and geneticists) and the gist of it is that they were pondering on what they thought could be done with DNA, not stating that they could do anything with it- it's just them equaling molecular biology with semantics and figuring what they could do with the molecules if they wanted to treat it with language.  I suspect this is a rewrite of the same article-maybe.
I find this quite scary if they do figure out how to mess with DNA, to tell you the truth.

With DNA, it's not sufficient to have the DNA for a particular ability, you must also be able to express that DNA. DNA is, essentially, a recipe book for new protein formation as transcriptase reads it. The DNA is utterly useless unless a cell is made to look at it and read it, just as a recipe book is useless to someone with no cooking facilities.

By entering certain states, one can encourage the body to release triggering hormones. The triggering hormones enter the relevant cells and activate the builders within the cells to go and look at the DNA to make new proteins. Organs such as the hypothalamus, pituitary and pineal gland are sources of triggering hormones for much of the body's endocrine system. The article is interesting in suggesting a link between language and DNA expression. It doesn't seem to touch, however, on the highly disparate nature of the languages used by humans across the globe.

Uh, you fall down, turn into a vegetable.  Your body keeps working.

This is the same for the cell. The DNA exists in the nucleus. It's like you memories. You lose the bluprint, but the hose remains.

Its just slightly confusing since the duality of effects is reversed in this case.
