Right to the point, a friend of mine is HIV+, and is very reckless with her life under the belief that it all isn't going to matter because the outcome for her is the same anyways. I am thinking anything is possible with magick, correct? As outlandish as it seems, magick has been used thousands of times before to cure other viral illnesses, and HIV's invulnerability to modern medicine is not of any importance in the energetic realm.
As of my current magickal development, I am an experienced beginner basically. I've been in the "field" for about two years, psionics in general for six. I've recently felt myself reach a new spiritual tier, which gives me confidence this is the path of life I'm supposed to be on.
I figure if I could somehow help her kick the disease (there are cases of HIV patients never developing AIDS), then I just might be able to give her a new outlook on life. It's doable.
.....Right?
I don't consider myself anywhere near qualified enough to take on this sort of witchcraft right now, and I was wondering what kind of training I would need.

It sounds crazy to me, but the people at www.immunics.org say they can drop viral load measurements to zero for HIV.
Of coure it's possible to stop AIDS form developing with magick, but I guess it could be very hard to do. I think that much easier method would be energy work. You can't harm with it, so why not give a try? (And everyone who has some experience in energy work could do a noticeable healing of less serious diseases, so maybe AIDS could be stopped too with more work?)

I had a friend who told me there was an easy way to increase your immune system, and he said that if you had AIDS you could keep living normally if you just did this every day. Just tap the area between your ribcages, right in the middle of your chest with your four fingertips.
I'm not sure if this works, but I trust the person who told me, he knows a LOT about magic. If I had HIV I'd try anything, so I thought I'd share.

Could you talk your friend into going for regular healings? I would highly recommend this - like a fortnightly type thing - if there is a healing practitioner around your area. Someone that works with the subtle bodies and energy centers as that healing would be really good for her I feel.
As for magic, this is a tricky one. Mainly because of your friends attitude. You can do all the right, strongest and best types of magic, but if they are all set on getting sick and dying then that is some strong magic in itself. I think you have to start changing the attitude before you even attempt some magic - which is where the healing may come in handy. I have seen many a case where the unwilling participant goes for healing, and actually feels some changes happening (ie warm hands on them, maybe a headache is relieved) and walks out feeling that maybe it all isn't impossible after all.
But let me guess, you want a spell anyways, huh?
