Lately I've been wondering if their is all sorts of evil around me trying to influence me and my friends, well it is true I like to watch Charmed on TNT though I know that that sort of magic isn't real I've been wondering if I could get a Protection circle tattoo on my Right shoulder so that I could be protected from evil, some strange and inconvenient things have been starting to happin.

If you believe it'll protect you from evil entities it probably will. A healthy positive mind-set would be a lot cheaper though.

Yeah I do beleive that it would protect me from evil, just like you need a protection circle to do magic, at least that's what i've been told. and not to worry I don't practice magic, I wouldn't know what to do, and besides I don't want to attract any more demons that have come to me. been into too many graveyards at night.

Although I don't recommend anything that could damage in any way your body (like piercings and/or tattoo) seems to me that what you want is something like a talisman. And, like any other talisman, it only will work if consecrated. And I doubt anyone will consecrate just your shoulder.

Get a real talisman, consecrate it and use it always. And learn to do psychic shelters. It's far better.

In any mystic shop. Usually a pentagram that you can wear in a necklace is enough.

Consecration means to purify and cleanse.

The most effective avenue of psychic protection is psychic development.  If you are psychically stronger then your energy is stronger and more able to prevent attack.  In magical practice, your own power is the strongest tool you possess. 

However, if you lack confidence in your own skills (look up psychic self defense and try some exercises though, you might be surprised at how easy it can be to use your massively strong energy), there are other protective measures.

You can perform all sorts of rituals.  I will often burn white candles as a way to purify my energy and remove any remnants of things i've picked up from other people and whatnot.  Usually once a week.  There are cleansing rituals involving things like sage, cedar and sweetgrass to achieve a similar end.  Though these things are more for removing something that is already there rather than preventing it.

Probably the easiest way to protect yourself (aside from your own power) is to carry crystals.  Any black stone will work.  I'm fond of black tourmaline, but obsidian, onyx, jet, etc. would work as well.  Lately I've also started working more with a stone called Spectrolite, which is supposed to create an energy sheath or cloak around your being, thereby making you effectively invisible to anything around your that would like to get at your energy.

You could use a talisman as was suggested.  The symbol is of less importance than what that symbol means to you.  For example, I wear the 4th Pentacle of Mercury which is primarily for wisdom, but through my intent i made it a protective symbol as well.

Depending on your religious belief, a member of the clergy is usually given this job.  If you believe that you have the power to bless something, then you can.

well, lately i've been wearing a lapis lazuli on hemp cord, it's supposed to protect and activate the third chakra, i know i've not been here for a few years but i'm back, and as a result i'm more atuned with my own sences, i can detect some spiritual pressure, just cant see what its coming from, yet.
       here in town i've seen alot of crows hanging around lately, and i realized something, they all started staring at me as i walk by, they go quiet and just start staring at me. when i walk by an animel of any kind, i put up a sort of ki shield. it doesn't do much except makes me feel more confident.
      btw i'm looking for my sword, but i cannot seem to find it in any shop, been looking for the sword for years but, still, none call to me, why is that? sorry off topic.

Life is full of strange and inconvenient moments but its also full of joys and helpful circumstances. Superstition and talismans wont make any difference, unless you believe they help you. All in the mind

You can have Magick casted, served, or intended for just about almost any purpose. Simply "believing" and "intending" is how some basic magick works. More advanced Magick actually takes real skill in energy manipulation to have powerful effects and alterations.
