If anyone wants the ebook just ask.

You wouldn't happen to be talking about summum philosophy, would you?

This is the same thing as the Kybalion, basically.
THE ANSWER PARADOX
The answer to all paradoxes shows this: "Reality contains logic therefore logic cannot contain reality."
The paradox here is "how can one know this is true?".

If the answer to one paradox is another then the question is the answer.

No I dont think so, heres the book if you want to see it. Not exactly the same as the actual book but seems pretty close so far.

What is that though?

Starvingpercussionist

Oh, my bad.  What I posted is a philosophy, not magic actually. You can check it out if you like.

Thanks

I have it amongst other work by Franz Bardon works. It's  easy enough to get if you do a search for  "Initiation into Hermetics" PDF on google. From what I've seen and experienced its the only complete system on Hermetic Magic I've seen.

Word of warning though if you decide to start it, follow it to the letter or there can be potentially severe consequenses.

Hope this helps

Greetings,
I will put forward only what I'm allowed as an open forum and a warning..(.I do concur with Mr.Brightside' statement,"Follow it to the Letter", those are words of Wisdom 100%)...because you do not know who is replying to this type of "serious"work/subject, good intentions of deducing thought isn't good enough, which in most cases is what I term,"the Lemming Effect",the  blind leading the blind,( but again <with Gd intentions>.
If you are serious, it will not be an open forum, but a personal association with your inner guide, and if it's meant to be,a True Teacher/Priest on this plane that will take you under his wing or hers, not to give you the answers, but to help you along <YOUR PATH> and in words that You will Understand Completely, and no money will be exchanged.I started my Quest in the Grt Wrk over 30 yrs ago, have taken only a handful of seekers and Never for monetary gain...Your work/foritude is the payment, as it should be.
To begin with, there are NO True Hermetic Teachers that will in fact be able to inform you of the lenght of time it will take to assimulate the material. A "Key" to the assimulation of True Magic (Hermetic, The Great Work) is, and has always been Perseverance & Fortitude, which is easier said than done. There is truth in the statement,"Many are called & few are Chosen" because of lacking those two qualities. They are the Wings "TO KNOW THY SELF", in it's true meaning
It is a Quest of the Most High, and time should never be thought of, only the Illuminating Goal, which will be,"Unadulterated Truth", and "Supreme Wisdom" from Divine Providence.
Though there are other Hermetic based books, you have found, or it found you, one of, if not the best to go forward with. It is because of Bardon's work that I feel obligated to respond in this forum..< I suggest to contact Publishers; Ruggeberg-Verlag, Postfach 130844, D-42035, Wuppertal, Germany> and aquire the two other needed books of Franz Bardon,"The Key to the True Quabbalah" & "The Practice of Magical Evocation.
To Know, To Will, To Dare, & To Keep Silent is the motto of all initiates who choose to go forward in this work. Since you have the book,"INITIATION into HERMETICS", turn to page 75 for a lengthy explaination of the above motto. May you succeed on Your Path for Truth.

I have always thought that a true Initiated would never recommend a practice other than searching within oneself.

The "lemming effect" as you said, I suppose you are not so blind after all...right?

Your recommendation is to go ahead with Bardon and to purchase the other two titles which go along with the first one.

Unfortunately, it seems quite plain that Bardon was not a truly Initiated and his teachings come from different sources:

1. Dr. Lomer's Seven Hermetic Letters
2. Ramacharkra's works. The most prominent of these are the: Science of Breath, Hatha Yoga
and Fourteen Lessons in Yogi Philosophy and Oriental Occultism
3. Alexandra David-Neel
4. Beverly Randolph
5. etc. etc

Therefore, to my mind this would also be the "lemming effect", is it not?

Just as Thoth has said before, those of True Wisdom never speak....so that would make me the greatest Fool of All. :)

I've read all of Bardon's work and while i do not practice it (it's not meant for me at this time) it has been instrumental in expanding my spiritual knowledge.  I'm always surprised by how little Bardon is mentioned in many spiritual circles, usually greatly overshadowed by the Golden Dawn and Crowley.
If but we knew the power of our thoughts we would guard them more closely.
