I need a little help about the Ouija Board.
I don't have a store bought one as my mum and dad won't allow me to bring on in the house so I used paper based one and fold it away when used. This is the first time using one and I did all the important things such as protection prayer, candles etc and felt safe when something did finally come through and was a good spirit.
But what I wanted to ask, how can you tell between a spirit moving it or my subconcious?
The spirit (if it was one) came through said his name was Mic, at first the name didn't ring a bell when suddenly it did, I knew a Mic when I was a child, he used to be in army and a very close family friend and he and used to take me conker picking in the park and one day dropped dead when taking his dog for a walk. Anyway I asked if this was the same Mic I knew as a child, it said yes.
But I'm not sure whether it was him or my subconcious. I haven't thought about Mic since being the age of 12 and was kinda shocked that this name was spelled.
My suggestion... don't mess with a ouija board.

There are many theories regarding this subject. I think the key here is not to view your subconscious as separate from the spirits. It is my opinion that the subconscious is the avenue through which this type of info is filtered. So it is your subconscious that is moving the viewer, but it is the spirit that is influencing it. By using the board and inviting the spirit in, you're giving it permission to connect with your energy. The way it passes info from its realm to yours is through the subconscious.
Have you ever looked into a pendulum? Its easier to work with than a quija board. You dont have to call in a spirit, it just works from your natural energetic connection you have with your guides or higher self. It can also be used anytime anywhere.
You have to be very careful using any device as a medium for other beings. Lower astral beings tend to be attracted to this type of communication. When I was a teenager I messed around with one a good bit and never got anything good from it. Some pretty nasty things actually.

That's why I recommend a pendulum, the answers come from you with a pendulum. You don't need to contact "spirits".
It is a good idea to learn a little bit about how to handle lower astral entities though. You don't want to leave the entity in the board, you want to release it's connection so that it can't cause trouble.
