are there really like spells or enchantments (Protection spells) cause im going on a band trip this summer and have heard rumors (which i know are true) that my roomates are going to try and prank me. Any help or ideas please??!!
The only way that their "spells" would have any effect, whatsoever, is through ignorance or superstition. Yep. Have you ever seen somebody cast a spell? Have you ever seen an effect as a result of someone casting a spell? No? Then it's bogeymen and closet monsters all the way!

Get them before they get you.
lift weights every day till band camp...
if you don't have any...hunt down something heavy. lift it for a week increasing reps, find something a bit more heavier the next week.
if if you have a medium sized dog. curl it.
or do what lighten said, get them before they get you....but make it so big that they can't think of anything to top it(or too scared to try) could get the whole camp at once and put jolly ranchers in all of the shower heads...man just thing of it...sticky body+dirt+bugs...ooh my! "One time in band camp.." will never be associated with sexual activities again!
jolly ranchers in shower heads
peanut butter in shoes
four/coffee creamer switch
ants in their dresser/foot locker
stuff to numb their lips on their mouth pieces
do all that the first week, don't think anyone will mess with you
also, try tying two doors together :evil:
LUCKY for you you have the "master" on your side PM me a few weeks before you go off to camp and i'll have you prepared to win the war and and any small battles....
I have to agree that as long as a prank doesn't go over the line, retaliation is the best response. It's hard to stop a prank when you don't know what's coming, so a prank war will at least ensure you get a few in yourself. But be sure it's funny or it's a waste of time.

Yes, I have seen spells cast and take effect. I have cast spells myself and positively affected the probabilities to get a job, get a girlfriend (magick's not good at making free-willed people stay, tho), get a raise, get a vehicle, find things that are lost, return things that are stolen, heal animals when I couldn't afford to take them to the vet, I could give you hundreds of examples if I had the time or patience. I'm probably 'talking' to 'deaf ears', but I find it massively offensive that you could come to a category this clear and immediately start talking against its basic premises!

Yes, they're called prayers, and there's lots of them.
The Banishing ritual of the pentagram is very efficient if you don't want to 'pray', although if you analyze it, it's a sort of prayer anyway.
ps. if your roommates are going to prank you, ask yourself, is it worth going with them?

When I had students, almost the first thing we would discuss is manifestation. I taught that if you can manifest reliably, then you don't need to learn magick. Unfortunately, most people cannot manifest reliably. Actually, most people cannot tell the difference between manifesting, praying, casting spells, and doing ritual magick. It's understandable, because there is some overlap involved, and you are definitely not doing anything like reading a book or working with concrete. But, yes, if you can do it, manifesting/ using the law of attraction IS easier.
