Commonly aforetold in ancient times, there is the hearsay against magicks which speaks ill fated conjurations upon the weary wielder of those fabled elements.

With the discretion thereby duly advised, we see the prominent caster to be hidden from society and working within his secret lair, though often, such chasms are filled with blood and reak of the opulence of sacrifices unknown to the meager man.

So, in the questions of the variety and types of different assorted magicks, we can come to the conlusion that there is a type of magick for every color of the spectrum.  And of these, very specific attunements to their operation and viability as a source of effect.

Now I make mention here that this information is not entirely correct and is based not on some other person's text or such documents as one might reference when considering this topic.  I will mention those of which I am more certain, then delve into the realm of the unknown circumstance of what magicks are fitted to the specific color types.  Again, we have video games and common game culture to better aid our understanding of the uttered varieties of such things as 'types of magicks'.

Red Magick-  this would be of the type that a warrior mage or priest would use.  a red mage would have a variety of attack spells which inflict forcial damage, rather than the commonly known black magicks which infect or disease their victim.  a red mage would also be a martial artist, and possess magicks which strengthen his body and make him more powerful on a pure forcial basis.  a red mage can attack with magick

Yellow Magick- here, the yellow mage is concerned with speed and accelerations, and deals with the types of magicks in their casting which increase or decrease his/her velocity for any given purpose.  they are the masters of kinetic potentials, and have cultivated an energy body which is not governed by the laws of gravity, yet completely in tune with them and breaking that gravity by the necessity of their massive acceleration capabilities.  they cast Speed Magick, and as with the red mage, this can often loan to an increase of strength, when required.

Green Magick- the green mage has powers of communication easily at his disposal.  his perfectly integrated magick can transcend the limitations or template of the designated reality in which he has his base, and, this communication is of the type which sees him quite often at the means to help someone heal.  They have full body mastery and control their own self completely, to the point that they are able to assist others by serving as a telepathic conduit.  It is a form of necromancy, and speaking with the spirits is something a green mage can do at the twitch of an ear.  they communicate to heal people and recover what was lost.

Blue Magick-  a mage who wields blue magick can deal in knowledge and memories, and these have full knowledge of their past lives and even lives of other people.  They are adept at handling information and have the utmost of power to teach and instruct people on any subject in which they are proficiently disposed to knowing.  Seekers of knowledge and information, a blue mage casts other forms of magick by his use of knowledge, yet, his primary ability is that of teaching and instruction, even with a commanding authority.  They can hide secrets and initiate others to higher degrees of awareness.

Purple Magick-  this type of magick deals with the transcendence to higher or lower dimensions.  The energy of a purple mage is always hidden, yet easily expressed.  These would be the ones who's mere prescence can work arcane miracles of healing, levitation, or wisdom.  They have fully integrated all other types of magick, and are Magus as far as anyone could guess.  They are masters of prescence, and commonly empaths that have advanced to the astral and beyond through devoted practice in love and faith.  Other people can use their instrinsic field of energy to promote excellence in their own magicks.

Beyond these, we have White and Black magicks.
White magick would be healing and matters of judgement, also enchantments which aid to protect people from other forms of magick, including black magicks.
Black magicks I'm sure most people have some idea of what they are dealing with.  Cysts, cancer, heart attacks, whispering in their heads, rape and even theivery of flesh for necromantic purposes, all such things are considered in black magick.  It is basically an assault against a person which turns their own magicks in on themselves, and seals their minds under satanic or black magicks.

And that is basically the gist of what can be said by me at this time concerning the abundance of magicks which we have.  I can not confirm nor deny any of what was just said in this post, it is only said now that you seek for the truth of the matter yourselves.

And as a note, Green Mages with their communications ability can also summon spirits or even spirits of living people.  They have some relation to old age summoners.

I know little of magick, just what happens to me, & phenomenon I've been able to initiate. I am an avid reader of the subject-fascinating, if a little obtuse many times. Eliphas Levi is my favourite.

Another question- how does one know the difference between clairaudience, & the "whisperings in the head" you mention? Positive/negative qualities of content?

If yes, I'm just trying desperately to gain some point of reference for what has been a truly EXTRAORDINARY year

I didn't know that there were categories for that sort of thing, besides the obvious white/black thing.

It hasn't just been "happening to" me- I've initiated sightings nearly ten times in the past year, & "they" have been doing the same. I managed to film the phenomenon twice (I've only had a cellphone since last October), athough footage was poor (I have a very low-line cellphone, w/ no data plan). I couldn't even transfer my crappy footage to my computer, so I just erased it. I've always been a stargazer & skywatcher, & I had one sighting when I was about 9 yrs old (I'm 36 now), & then suddenly starting last May, it's like a dam broke or something. Very, very strange- I thought I was hallucinating at first, but after I captured footage twice- during two sightings that I initiated, I've begun to rule that out.

I don't expect anyone to believe me- I don't bring it up, or report to MUFON period (I don't trust them), but this seems like a good place to bring up the subject...

& I must apologize for being a thread highjacker, it's just that I really need to find people who have knowledge about the contact experience- I'm gaining knowledge as I go, but I feel like I've found the holy grail & want to share it, only nobody wants it

As for the whole types of magick, I based that post on what I know from fantasy books and video games with what I know about the variety of types of mages that there are.  Ignore it or embrace it, really, one can study these things and think they know everything about it.  Until you begin to practice the magicks actively, you know nothing, so choose a practice and get with it.

As for Alien Sightings, the other night, I walked twenty miles in the darkness.  At a place where I was walking and walking, and it was taking too long to get to the curve in the road, I looked up, and behold, a single shimmering pale white and pink with yellow star far away in space.  Today, we drove down that same road, and at the point where I was walking and walking, there is now a hill on the road, whereas, before, there was no hill, it was a flat road.  Mom said, "Oh that hill has always been there."  but it isn't true.  That woman is stupid, imo.  She's an Anti Christ like the rest of them.

So perhaps some alien intelligence in a far away galaxy was making contact with me at that point, and somehow distorted the landscape in order to protect me from wild animal attack.  I know, I was walking, walking and walking, and getting nowhere!  I've had timeless experiences like that before, usually with the landscape being distorted as well.

That's very interesting Chaos Mage- I have not experienced anything like that (yet- although it is an interesting avenue to explore). Yes you are right about the difference between theory and practice- & paralells can be found everywhere- fictional or non-fictional. It has been said (I forget by whom) that all of life itself can be seen as an act of Magick.

As far as your categories relate to my personal experience- I'd say it involves aspects of green (telepathy), & some of purple (invocation of multi-dimensional intelligences).

Your experience the other night may well have been a multi-dimensional experience- although it certainly is easy enough to just get turned around & disoriented in the woods-especially where I live (BC Canada). The feeling of timelessness is interesting though-this is something that I feel relates to the true nature of humanity- we ourselves are essentially timeless & multidimensional- although very few of us are awake to the fact- & those that are, are labelled as mentally deficient- a typically ironic & backwards "label". Heck, even the concept of labelling ourselves as only this or that is incredibly ignorant. Humanity seems to be stuck in a kind of limiting mentality, when the truth is the exact opposite- an entire spectrum of potentialities, as you have alluded to.


Therefore, I tend to agree w/what Loinheart said about neutrality-the rest is just intent & labelling.

im surprised there is nothing up there about eco-magick or nature magick. A lot if not most ancient pagan cultures had some connection to plants and animals, especially celtic druids who would harness the power of trees, heal the enviroment and use natural features and settings as their temples and place of ritual.

When I made that post, it was mostly influenced out of video game type magicks.  The different types of mages and such, it actually has no real basis in reality.  It was just my own lame thing.

I guess I'm confused, I've spent too much time involving myself with Jehovah.  That BST Belief System Territory has had hold of me for years now, ever since I became deluded and thought that it was Jehovah that has saved my life.
In my periods of being wiped out, dead, or otherwise non existent, there has been definite exposure to a mystical entity which could be The Master Therion.  Perhaps he conjures me back to reality, I don't really know.  There are other instances of barely defeating a death circumstance.  In those instances, my body became spiritual yet maintained itself in the BST of human existence.

Sorcery could be considered the conjuration, not only of spirits, but also of material things.  So if you 'conjured' a bunch of weed, you could sit there and smoke it.  Does this take away energy, most likely not, as, when you are in a position to conjure things into reality, you are at peace, essentially living in Nirvana with your psyche extension activated and extended into reality.  That's what I figure anyway.
Necromancy is more like communication between spirits, can involve telepathy, possession, or even bodily alteration.

The functional tools of magick, in my current experience, seem to be Belief, Visualization, and Time.
Emotions and such things, emotion, thought, memory, and bodily conditions, all of those seem to be circumstantial to your Believed Reality, Focused or Activated reality, and the current frequency in which you have your activated state.

That's what I figure anyway, as an update on it.

I don't think there are " types of magic". Yes I suppose you could stick them into categories. But black and white magic is basically this-Black(with bad intent), White(with good intent. Other than that I think that these categories more fit into a video game than a real life situation.

There are predominately three types of magic: aggressive, passive and neutral. There are other subcategories, but the majority of magic wielded can be divided into these three groups or classes.

Passive magic is the gentler magic of healing, or making plants grow. This magic sleeps until it is called upon by the wielder.

Neutral magic is also 'passive' i.e. it won't work unless called upon, unlike aggressive magic which happens automatically.

All types of powers can be used two ways: to harm and to help.

A fighting magic can be used to brutally kill, or it can be used to protect people, just like a healing magic can be used to heal someone, or to kill someone.

Neutral magic is the friend of many criminals, but also hunters. It is the art of illusions and can therefore hide the body, or the criminal, or conceal the sound of footsteps as well as scent to sneak up on your prey.

These energies are neither good or evil, it's all in the responsibility of the caster.

Precisely, but some people get a better grasp of understanding through categories rather then leaving it ambiguous. Such as people who have a hard time of accepting that through some forms of Black Magick can be used for what can be perceived to be positive or good temporarily or for the greater good, rather then selfishness alone.

I agree with this also. But, all Magick is neutral in it's original state of existence or essence. We are the ones that give it the title Black or White.

I've been developing, or rather, writing about, different systematic approaches to the different types of magick.  Since then, I've got it figured that magick, in, it's raw, undefiled state, is the conscious, whole souled worship of the Holy Spirit.  It can be celestial in the mind, and yet will transmute the body and the mind to the original potential of existence.  Death is nothing to be feared, as when we die, if we have died a clean death, we return to the Source (like Neo in the Matrix movies).  That's why psions of the passed have told us to meditate and maintain balance, when we have balance, harmony is achieved.  Paradise is like existence, and there is no fear of Death, rather, fear of not dying can come in.  Magick derives it's different effects based on the interaction of different intensities of energy.  So, if we consider a Star Wars type of world, in which the Force is peace and wisdom, then we, through honor and love, can achieve our 'force state transition', and become a spiritual entity.  In the basic system that i was writing about there is Force, and from Force, we get Energy by applying Mind to the Force.  And if we get too much energy, it means destruction.  I guess that's why crystals, stones, and consecrated talismans are useful to a practicer of magick, yet it is the most common mistake, here, I make it plain.
The delusion of the existence of magick is that magick or specifically, your magick, is greater than the Spirit.  If you use your magick to do horrible things, it brings in violence, lust, and corruption.  So magick is the creation of a satanic energy, unless, you are using priestly magick like prayer and faith healing.

So that's what I came to say today.  The Mind applied to Force generates Energy, and all Force is an Element of the Spirit.  There IS more to say, I will work on the types of magick to make it more accurate, yet, in terms of that Force System, you are either force or energy, and you die when you go unconscious and stay unconscious long enough to decay your energy matrix.  Even so, if you have a spirit, then you will return to Force.  I guess that's it for now.

You are saying that the force is the utilisation of the thought energy generated.
That imho is a correct statement. You can have all the energy of the
sun but if its not being used then it has no force capabilities and the result is this energy is useless.
This ties up nicely when doing a projection attempt. You can have all the knowledge of 2000 years but its useless without the proper intent required for a purpose.

thank you, when i was writing about the force energy thing, it was in reference to a gaming system in which you have the basic force, and from that force, you can draw energy constructs into existence as items... and in comparison to reality, our bodies are geometeries and densities of energy...  i kind of draw on Star Wars, cuz yoiu know how they have their force bodies, just a simple awareness of inner peace and higher harmony... so from that, you can energize anything you want, but again, you put too much energy in one place, without the knowledge or stability of the matrix then generated, it will catch fire and be destroyed, a waste of energy.\

as far as types of magick, i know that there is banishing, invocation, and evocation.  those aren't different types of magick, but components of every magick that is used.  there is a lot more to say, perhaps tonight i will work on adjustment of my ideas concerning types of magick...  i would sit here a little longer, but this little thing is hard to use, i need my own computer.

TYPES OF MAGICK, revised...?

DIVINATION
NECROMANCY
SORCERY

Those are three primary types.
Divination is likened to 'channeling', yet there is also a method called 'scrying'.  It could be possible that people who are adept at divination are also precognitive...??  Do you think so?
Necromancy can also involve divination, and is like a pure form of channeling.  There are also other types of necromancy which involve ... surgeries, flesh reaving, and other such nefarious, really nasty stuff.  Mostly, necromancy involves contacting the spirit world, usually for an oracle... which is similar to divination.
Sorcery is the art of conjuring, so I've heard.  Sorcerors will have a source of energy, and will use it to manifest 'things' in reality.  It can also be considered to be necromancy, is that right?

Now I've gone and checked my notes, come back, and forgotten everything else that was there.  There was a fourth type of magick but I don't remember what it was.  Besides those three, here are the other ones that I remember...

VISUALIZATION
SEXUAL
HYPNOSIS
CHANNELING!
and the one that I forgot but it came back to me, which, is a really major one that many people pursue...
HEALING!!

Visualization can be used by sorcerors, I don't honestly believe that everyone who uses 'imagination', visualization 'third eye', or such, not everyone is a sorceror.  Visualization generates energy, and can be used to guide energy forms or shape them.
Sexual, well, I'm sure that a lot of people are highly interested in sexual types of magick.  It is more than a carnal urge, yet proper use of sexual energy enables powerful flows of energy (electricity, heat) through the whole body.  Sexual energy in a different sense can be used to bestow beauty, grace, even intelligence to those who we 'worship' as a sexual ideal.  And of course, disrespect of sexual energies is a definitely wrong thing to do.
Hypnosis, well, self-hypnosis?  This is one of my personally most hated types of magick, also, a vague weakness!!  It means that even subliminal telepathy of other people can effect your conscious actions.  It is also the realm of religion, as mostly all religions teach you to believe in something, and believing in something is well on the way to being hypnotized by it.

And of course, Healing.
Some people will employ channeling in order to heal someone, others use prayers or spells, others, it's simply a thing of eating right and staying active.  Some people would like to have an abundance of healing energy freely at their disposal, and some do, but others are actually obstructed by hypnosis of the Christ or believe something that isn't true about the Christ and it obstructs them anyway.

Right, Channeling.  Channeling means that if you have the capacity, you can direct or 'channel' energy or information.  Channeling is a very high art, imo, there are all kinds of entities and beings that you can get close to with it.  Also very dangerous, as, some beings will try to channel YOU!

So let's see, just a quick list off the top...
Prayer, Spell
Banishing (as it's own specialized skill)
Worship (which definitely isn't the same thing as banishing)
and, yessiry, Elemental Magick.

I'm not really sure about elemental magick, I think I used to know a lot about it, but much has been forgotten.  It can involve good grounding processes and taking of natural elements, using them, getting accustomed to the elements and trying to raise power to summon an elemental.  I don't believe that there is a way to directly harness the elements, unless you were 'becoming that element'.  I could be wrong! 

Other than these, does anyone know anything about it?  Any comments or modifications are welcome.  Sadly, I'm not a master of magick... not anymore.  Almost time to tuck in and fade away.  heh, I guess that's how it goes.

There Are several books on this subject., The only book that I have read is Barret's "The Magus" and that is somewhat hard to follow.

I'll throw in here SYMBOLIC magick as well.  Perhaps the AP can come up with a list of things, and write some kind of instruction manual?

I know a few things about, so called, nature magick.  I like to hug and kiss trees sometimes, and I go sit in among them, and listen to their song.  I remember that time a couple years ago that I went and sat next to the trees, and I was broken hearted and downcast, and part of my mind was hearing the trees, but it took (minimal) effort.  I heard the trees sing 'techno rock -- gospel music', if that makes any sense to you.  I don't remember the songs anymore, but it certainly was uplifting.

I suppose that this nature magick could be classed under elemental magick?  I still think that there is a 12 element system somewhere, I've tried and tried to make a twelve element system that works with anyone's regular spinning clock, twelve elements, like an element for every hour, also, for every math thing that applies to time.  Twelve directions, and so forth.  But in this twelve element system, we would see elements like "Stone" and "Steel" and "Wood", "Fruit" and so forth.  I dunno, I haven't looked at it that way, always looked at stone and steel as part of the Earth element.

I suppose once you've studied enough and tried a few practices with feasible, tangible result, it doesn't hurt to make your own theories or practices.  Stuff like sorcery, well, it can get very scarey.  For instance, you create a techno-demon devil-god that thrives on your own perception of techno music, and in your day to day life, all you listen too is techno music.  So this thing keeps getting stronger and stronger, doing bad things the entire time, perhaps manifesting as some kind of fracture in the spacetime continuum.  Well, at that point, you'd be like me, laying there in bed with a foreign world of words coming out of your mouth, sputtering things about "Great Celestial Sky God avenge me!!" and so forth.

Here, let's run through the list again.

7.Visual??symbolic or not??  always had more energy, and empowered the sigils

So ok, I'm wore out by today.  Yeah, drove all the way out to the garbage dump and it was closed, came back home with my tail between my legs.  I didn't want to go, I was so sick by today, couldn't even see.  I guess there's times when no matter where you turn or what you are doing, you just gotta suffer it through.  At least I finally got control of the sickness, somewhat, and was able to stifle it before it went full blown and made my hands purple, face red, and eensy balls.

That really has no place in this discussion, someone please, say something about this.  I notice that it got to be a kind of hot topic.  Right, Worship and Elemental.  This is, of course, excluding things about martial arts, exercise, and eating practices.  I don't know much about it, so can't say anything about it.  Like for instance, a way to make yourself invisible, or run super fast.  I've done some of that stuff, but no idea how by this point.  It was lived, not crammed into my head as book material.  Seems to involve charging, holding, and releasing energy.  Like the old 'Charge/Release' type of attacks.
