Strange Experience and Symbol

I learned years ago this forcecraft chant.

Last night, I was outside and decided to experiment with the chant. I do still experiment will spells and different practices.

I stood, closed my eyes and chanted the chant at a cadence, while repeating it. I was also using a method I also learned some years ago to draw in energy from the Earth itself. Even as I was sucking in the energy, I was muttering the chant as usual. I was mid-way in, about fifth or sixth time repeating it. I felt myself being drawn upwards, as if I was starting to AP! i did not let this spook me, but continued with the chanting.

Each time I got to the end of the chant, before repeating it over again, this large image like an after image would pulse behind my eyelids for exactly two seconds. Then would go away, only to come back exactly in the same manner when i again reach the end of the chant.

It was like this: o) but turned around so that the circle is pointed upwards. it was colored a muted blue/green. As soon as I stopped the chanting, no more after image - just gone, not like a regular light exposure afterimage. i know for a fact that those tend to stay for awhile once you're exposed to light.

That's pretty cool.  Not sure what it means, but cool.  Was it an evocation of some kind?

I had printed out a couple of years back this huge entry on the internet. Dragon Magic School. It listed all sorts of forcecraft spells. It even gave instructions how to use them.

This was listed in the web pages as a gate-shifting spell. You are supposed to imagine a new location, then yourself in that new location, doing something. Then say the chant after doing all of this. The spell, in short, takes you to the thought about place.

Well, during my unusual incident, I decided to chant in the doing something in the new location part - instead of after. Plus, I added the repeating the phrase. The rest is history, according to my OP. 

I guess my body took it as I was trying to AP. Or most likely, the creators of this spell never intended physical travel, just AP; a shortcut of sorts.

I think that's a lunar (perhaps solar) disc and crescent (also symbolizing the moon).  Check into the headdress of Khonsu (also worn by Thoth, and Isis shares a similar headdress).  You may also find it interesting to look into Pluto as a symbol. 

I'm not sure why you would receive that particular symbol, or what it may mean for you.  What do you think?

I had tons of personal life stuff come up, but I gave a read into the site. It appears, from the quote:

"It seems obvious that a sun appears to rest in a kind of "lunar boat," as in the ancient Egyptian conception of the soul's journey after death..."

That the thing I was doing, the energy and chanting might have put me in some sort of trance that was allowing me to start to AP. it wasn't just like one chant and them boom!

I definitely had to spend some time chanting it over and again before the symbol even started appearing. So yes, it appears I have gotten my answer. Thanks all!

Yes, this is the site I got it from.

I found it awhile back, I was curious when I was younger, going off on all sorts of information from the internet. Most of the chants from the site are excellent for repeating for me, as it puts me in a trance I needed to be in for some other working.

Mostly, though now, I work with Astral Projection.
