Dreams of Super Powers

Hi Gang.

First of all...wow. It's amazing what you can find when you dig. I only discovered astral projection last night, and I'm already obsessed. I tried for the first time last night. I've done some meditating, so I understand how to reach a trance state. I got as far as intense vibrations, but they scared me back to consciousness. I must have tried three or four times at night before I fell asleep. I tried again in the morning and got about as far.

But I get it. When I was a child, I had the usual flying/falling dreams. They were so real. I used to have dreams and I would tell my Mom about them. I told her I could fly, and I had powers like the force, that I could make things levitate. Even a few years ago (I'm 34) I asked my Mother about this. She said she didn't remember me telling her, but said my sister told her she could fly too.

But I would sometimes wake up, and be like, "Wow! I'm a super hero. This is awesome!" I would start walking around the house looking for someone to tell, and then slowly but surely realize I couldn't actually do anything amazing. It must have been a dream? But I knew it wasn't a dream, it was real. It was very, very frustrating. I could tell the difference. I just didn't understand until I found out about AP, or OBE.

I used to practice telepathy, even up to a year ago (embarassed) because I KNEW that I'd done it before. I was aware it seemed crazy but I would sit in café's and try to levitate pens. All it did was give me a headache. But now I'm thinking maybe I was astral projecting (or lucid dreaming?) when I did it, and that's why it seemed so real. I thought that maybe telepathy, and all that was a dormant ability we haven't unlocked. Who knows.

I'm not normally a spiritual guy. I like to go out with friends, kiss pretty women, work out, read books. I don't even like sci-fi books all that much. But I just know that there is more to my life and mind. With all of these people writing on forums, this phenomenon must be real.

For years I have had those Super Hero dreams. Always coming to the aid of others when injustice attacked them. I guess in a way it tells the essence of who you really are.

Hi, welcome to the Pulse.
Im sure many more here have had these saviour dreams. Mine started in the late sixties. I still get to rescue others but this is on a different level.

Flying dreams can be a lot of fun. Lucid dreams of flying are even better. What is best of all is flying during an OBE, that is truly amazing!
