Oh my gaaaawddd Lighthouse, you sound like me!!
I want to be a motivational speaker. Perhaps we can email each other so you can give me some tips on the industry for this type of work?
Blissful
Oh.. and I'm a new member. Been intuitive all my life (and past lives, hee hee) and now I'm not scared to take it to the next level.
I have been on the forum for a month or so.
I have been doing yoga asanas and meditation for 9 years. Kriya yoga, kundalini type yoga for 4-5 years, Tai Chi for 2 years and have had a great interest in all sorts of astrology for 4 years. I am interested in all eastern religions and any other spiritualist themes or philosophies, self help, development type stuff, esoteric themes. I am currently doing lucid dreaming techniques from Tibet and using Holosync Brain Wave generator for meditation daily.
Basically I am not trying to help or develop anyone except myself and am pretty much a loner excepting my family and work environment and of course the internet. I ride a bike to work and eat more or less carbo free and do not use drugs or alcohol. I live in Germany with wife and 2 little kids doing import/export work.
I am Pisces and therefore a natural for this type of spiritualist environment here. The health freak mentality and boring office job I blame on my 3 planets in Virgo and my dream interests on my moon/Jupiter conjunction.
Well, okay. I'm Daniel, just call me Dan, I live in a small little town in Alabama, but I'm not the least bit southern [;)] (strange, but true, especially since I grew up here; then again, we live in a place that has been occasionally called the project, lol, but, still, people act country and talk it too). I read a lot of books. I don't care what they are, as long as I can read them. I also write books (mostly fictional, because my non-fiction book I have in process isn't doing so good; so much for picking a subject that doesn't contridict itself [:P])
I use to work, then I quit because I had way too many things to be doing, so . . . yeah, I quit! [:D] I'm sixteen, though, anyway, and I watch my sister's kids for her, though. Twelfth grade, or will at least be going into the twelfth grade when August comes, Yeah!
I've been trying to learn Biokinesis for five years now, but am at this moment try to do astral projection instead, since I hadn't really had any luck with the BK (not quiting, just starting a hiatus [:D]). My spiritual beliefs are, uh, I'm a Christian, or at least I believe I'm one [^]. I'm not going to change anybody, either, 'cause they are who they are, and if they want to be who they are, go ahead, it's okay with me, as long as they're happy! HAPPY!
I'm full of energy for some reason, and it shows through in my writing, or at least I think it's showing through in my writing. Don't really know, oh well. (hmm, for being a writing, I sure can't write!) Uh, I don't do any drugs, don't drink, don't, uh, do anything that I'm not suppose to (yeah right!).
I had had a girlfriend, we broke up. I'm looking [;)]!
Goals in life: Master biokinesis, get married and have at least two kids, become a social working, travel the world! Hmm, small list, but good enough for me!!! [|)]
Hi,
Great idea Kerri to have a section for introducing ourselves.
Well, I'm Mark and somehow I found myself turning 44 this year. It happens. I am almost finished writing a book about my extraordinary experiences since childhood that have brought me to what I currently understand about our nature as Spirit. This is a book I knew I had to write ever since I was 15.
I am also a single dad with a nine year old daughter who is turning nineteen too soon for my liking. I stopped work to raise her from birth. Which is also something that I knew about at 15. Must have been a big year that. LOL
The past 8 years have had me on a very steep learning curve with spiritual growth...or remembering as I like to call it. For most of those years I Soul-journeyed with the Guides every night in order to remember who I was, what i was and what has brought me to here this time. Part of this a Kundalini raising to the third eye chakra and the enlightening Oneness with the universe experience that it provides. From that I learned that enlightenment was not like a trophy, you are not always enlightened after that.. it is something to be worked at and with to learn how to use it effectively.
Since then I have been teaching groups of people (mostly ladies)the easiest methods for raising themselves into their Soul level awareness, meeting their own Guides face to face and working with them. At which point my work is done.
I would like to earn a living from it one day but still have an issue with charging for what the Universe provides me with for free. LOL
Also, I am currently president of a UFO and Paranormal Research group that has a small but dedicated membership. Fortunately for us the area we are in has many interesting things happening as well as a rich ancient history that goes against the grain of standard western history thought patterns.
I spend too much time on the Net, surfing and emailing, posting and writing articles or just playing games. LOL I am really a 44 year old kid.
I love to share what spirit has shown me over the years, the simple understandings it has brought. Although most of what I write about is different to many other perceptions, sometimes it seems way out there !
And I refuse to do the medium or psychic thing because I do not think it is effective to provide the answers to others when they can easly learn to find the answers for themselves. So instead of giving them their answers I chose to teach them how to get it themselves. Self Empowerment for all !
"give a man fish and you feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you feed him for life."
Lastly, as you can tell I like to write a lot. LOL
Love Always. [:)]

Instead of just saying "Hi!" I thought it would be nice to have a bit more formal of an introduction. I know this is not for everyone, so I decided to make a new topic for it.
It was really cool to see everyone's picture and now I thought it might also be cool to see what people are all about. I really really like these Astral Pulse forums and it's nice when you meet a kindred spirit online and to meet someone who really (I mean really) challenges your belief systems...
This way, we can all know who we're arguing with and where they're coming from [;)].
I'm Kerri, I live near Washington DC... the land of "Lyposuction and Politics." I'm a Motivational Speaker and am in the process of writing my first book (targeted release 2006.)
Most of my posts revolve around helping people to see themselves as a perfect expression of Divinity. I am very into my personal development and love teaching what I learn. I have found through teaching my message, I have truly found my life purpose. Part of my work is to help others find their life purpose by releasing their self imposed limitations (all limitations are self imposed.)
I can be somewhat opinionated but really try to see all sides of something. If you find me abrasive, I probably find you abrasive too [;)]. I feel when that happens, we are holding up mirrors to each other to show where our own limitations lie... our opportunities for growth. I feel all perceived negative expereinces are opportunities for growth.
My goal in this life is to LOVE to the best of my ability and to learn all I can so I don't have to reincarnate (

Good luck on that one, Kerri.[:P])

Kerri
Hi!
I couldn't get into the forum with my old account/password so I rejoined under a different username. I'm Kerri, formerly known as Lighthouse, the starter of this thread. I'm glad to see so many buddies still here, (Gandalf, James, Jouni, Tayesin, Greatoutdoors... more) and some new and interesting ones as well.
By the way, if you're interested, you can see my blog here:

See you around.
Love,
Kerri
I've had an interest in these arts for most of my life and enjoy very much working with others who share like interests, as people like us are so few. I'm looking forward to making some great new friends here! Thanx
