Hi, I'd first just like to say I love the whole feel of the community here, it's nice.

I'm new to well.. many things here except perhaps lucid dreaming which I was able to do a while ago and I'm just really getting motivated to get back into things again.
I'm not completely lacking the knowledge.. just experience.

I'm generally a quite quiet person in life, love to be helpful and I've always been interested in things that are discussed here.

Since I'm new, I'd like to ask question I've wondered about for a long time and I would be very grateful if some people could assist me..

I've always felt very peaceful when listening to and watching rain, thunder and lightning, wind and especially love walking in the dark in light stormy weather, every time I sit and listen to rain I can relax my body so much that I just want to stay there for ages (and hey we get a lot of rain here in the UK ).. and walking along a beach in the dark in stormy weather appeals to me as being the most peaceful and relaxing thing ever...
could anyone tell me what this means in a more spiritual manner? other than I love weather?

About the rain... I'm not sure if there is a more spiritual thing to it, but I could be wrong. I really like the rain too. Water is a very calming thing. I have a French teacher who used to teach kindergarten and she said that when ever a little kid would get upset she would bring him to one of those water tables and the kid would calm down really fast. Everyone has something that they find calming and relaxing so maybe thats all it is. Sorry if I have disappointed you

Welcome to the Astral Pulse forums! Regarding the rainfall, it is spiritual as you say. For example, there are companies that sell cds meant for relaxation, and the like. Often they have gentle rainfall, ocean waves, and forest sounds on them. It seems there is something soothing, peaceful and spiritual in those sounds that speaks to (many of) us.
