Hi, I'm new to this website. I'm also relatively new to many of the concepts presented on this website, but still somewhat familiar. I kind of joined this website because I'm on a bit of a spiritual quest, you could say. If you have any advice on what I could read or some good rituals to start out on, I'd appreciate it.

i would personally suggest reading any materials which are higher frequency in nature, and to generally avoid books of a darker slant, especially when one is first building a learning foundation.

i started out with the book called 'the projection of the astral body' by sylvan muldoon and hereward carrington about 25 years ago, even reading it several times.  since then, i've mostly read spiritual literature.  i'm currently reading a book called 'the apocryphal old testament' as edited by hfd sparks.  it contains records of prophets who ascend into the heavens and see visions.

as far as rituals are concerned, i personally have never found the need to use them for astral projection.  rituals and occult symbols are largely used by beginners to develop concentration, sort of like training wheels on a bicycle.  i personally have never used these training wheels, but sometimes they can benefit others for a short time period.  a goal is to eventually progress beyond occult rituals and symbols.

sure thing.  they're just a couple of my personal favorites.  there are certainly others.
