What's up everyone!

So I've been fascinated with astral projection for a long time and I would like to delve deeper into this subject. During a period in my life when I was really into it, I was able to astral project through lucid dreaming a few times. The experience was amazing and now I want to learn how to achieve astral projection without falling asleep. lol.

To describe my experience with astral projection, I did it through thinking about my own body during lucid dreaming. In that instance, my vision turned black and I felt myself "float" upwards. When I regained my vision, I was in a strange land, I stood on top of a valley with colors that were made of stripes of blue and white. (have anyone else been here?) There was definitely a significant distinction between lucid dreaming and astral projection, because of how real things seem and how slow time is.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to learning from you guys and sharing my own experience.

Peace

Hopefully we can assist you in deeper delving that you seek!
I, too, have the majority of my projections through lucid dreams.  I call it having a "Non-physical Lucid Awareness" experience.  :)
For me, the only distinction (and where I believe a lot of people start misinterpreting their LD's vs AP's) is how aware you are during the experience.  This extra awareness during an Astral Awareness Experience, I find, can cause the illusion that things are "more real".

In any case, again, welcome to the forum!  :)
