Hi! I am from Kansas and have been astral traveling for a little while now without outside help. I find it to be fascinating and something that I am completely interested in.
Hey Chellebelle. Welcome to the forum.
It's a good job you are interested in it. :-D
Thank you for your reply! I know I have a lot to learn. There are not many resources on the subject here and I am thankful that I found a place where there are others that are interested in the same things.
Hi and welcome to the pulse.
There's lots of info here on this subject.
The search function works wonders, we get asked a lot of the same questions and they have been answered. Finding them is another matter.
Hello and Welcome to the Astral Pulse! :-)
Make sure to check out the many stickies found on this forum. They are loaded with all kinds of great info.
Good Luck and Safe Travels! :-)
Hi and welcome!
What kind of outside help?
I think chellebelle means without the influence or help of other APers. That's how I interpreted it.
Welcome! :D
Greetings and welcome chellebelle
Let's hope that you like this site and decide to stay a long time.
Regards 8-)

Welcome to AP Forums. Good to see you here.
I guess I should tell you all a little bit more about myself. I have read other introductions now, wanting to get to know you all and found mine to be a little vague. As a child, I have always been interested in the unexplained. I find books and shows of the spiritual and paranormal nature to be interesting to me. Which is not what you would expect if you saw or knew me. I went to college and studied Business, not quite sure what I wanted to be when I grew up. I spent most of my college days fucusing on dance. I was the dance captain of two different dance squads in college, then went on to dance for a pro team. I am not the typical bimbo you would expect from someone who spent a lot of time shaking her butt in front of people. I do miss those days though. I enjoy music and the feeling it gives me to be able to express myself through music.
I found out about astral projection after the fact. I read about it and became aware that I already do this on a regular basis. When I found out that you could control the projecting, I started focusing and taking intentional trips. I have seen the pyramids and even went to see my father who passed when I was 17. Seeing my father was too much for me at the time and I have yet to try again. I have also projected while awake and aware, just sitting there cross legged I felt myself come up out of my body which scared me and I brought myself back in. I did not think it would work and I shocked myself when it did.
I know there are a lot of experienced APers on here and would appreciate any advice, lessons, or ideas for me to work on. Thanks!

So basically you are saying you are 'well fit'.
jk
Sounds like you are a natural anyway.
The first time I asked for my mother I was frightened and thought.... 'Ghaaaaha I'm not ready... this is too real'. It just seems you need to let go of the fear. But that is a natural thing that will come to you in time.
Thanks Bedeekin! I do need to let go of the fear. How was the visit with your mom? The last time I tried to see my father I ended up on what I believe to be a spaceship and had the feeling that he was just around the corner. I couldn't go any further. It was all too real. I didn't know what I would say to him if I saw him. I also felt like I was somewhere that I shouldn't be. I think I have gotten past that now though. It is my belief that he is fine and doing well. I am not so much focusing on things that have past, but what can be accomplished in the here and now.
Well I actually did have an experience at the weekend with her and her mother, my nan, present. I bubbled like a child. It was quite a beautiful experience.
That statement "I also felt like I was somewhere that I shouldn't be" is so the same feeling I got when I had my first potential meeting with her.
