Hi, thought I should introduce myself.

I'm on home leave from prison and have been trying to find out about astral projection.

They let me out for a week every month and the last time I was home I found your forums. I'd heard of astal travel before but never realised so many people were doing it. I'm so glad I found this place.

I downloaded 'Astral Dynamics' by Robert Bruce but I was only able to speed read some of the important looking bits before I had to go back to prison (I was a courier of money in a drugs conspiracy btw)

The first time I tried to project went well. I got the vibrations and some wierd senstations but then got too excited to get any further. I woke up later that night and everything was like gray and cloudy and bright(dont know what that was). My eyes then opened and that was the end of it.

Since I went back to prison I havent had any success at all. I dont know if its because my failure to project the first time has damaged my belief that I can, or if its because the first time I was listening to a file made from bwgen (cant take my mp3 player back to prison). I've got my mp3 player for tonight though so fingers crossed.

I've got some specific problems and questions from my attempts in prison but I'll post them seperately and when I've done a bit more reading. I dont get as much time as I'd like to read off the internet while at home so I'll probably need to buy a book off amazon.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, I just wanted to say hi. I reckon I'll probably be around here for a long time.

Hi there Blis, nice to meet you.

Prison, eh?  Sounds rough... :/
Hopefully we can brighten you day a little bit here.  :)

If you have any specific questions, there's a search function here which can probably answer most questions you might have.
For anything else, feel free to start a new topic in one of the forum sections!

Again, nice to meet you.  :)

Blis,
Curious if you have ever read "The Star Rover" by Jack London. Given your current situation you may find it as an interesting source of inspiration! I always enjoy finding little gems like this book. Give it a try in your "spare time". Take care.

blis,
I found the book online at http://www.jacklondons.net/writings/StarRover/toc.html. All chapters are available to read.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the link. I appreciate it. I'll read some just now and then see if the prison library can get hold of a hard copy when I get back.

British jail isnt that bad really. I suppose it all depends how much of a life you had to lose. I actually see my sentence as a bit of a blessing. It's given me time out from the world to sort myself out. I'm in an open prison now and its pretty relaxed.

Thanks for the welcome guys
