Title: hello everyone
Post by: Steve1234 on February 16, 2013, 15:07:14
(first of all, sorry for my bad English, I'm very bad at it; same post as in astral chat, teen topic, but its_al_bad said that it is better that i introduce myself here)

Hey,
I'm maxim, 16 (birthday 11 October 1996 Smiley ) years old.
I came across ap'ing 2 years ago but i only recently started practising again. (tried it before when i was 14 but stopped then because of my parents. They once asked why i was laying down in the middle of the day and i told them. They said it was dangerous etc. so i stopped trying it.)
I did some research over these two years and decided to try it again.
It is rather difficult to practise because i cant do it over day (parents + school) and i need to wake up early for school.
So only time left is in the evening, but i read multiple times that that isn't a good time to practise. Sad
Are there others among you guys with the same problems? How do/did you solve it?

Greets,
herat (maxim)

Hello Maxim!!

Don't listen to a word of this 'don't do it in the evening' nonsense. I have been AP'ing in the evening nearly most of my life... so far.  :-D

So you keep trying in the evening.

Have a look around or type in the search bar at the top right for 'Meditation' and 'phasing'. There is so much info on here already about this subject there should be no need for me to write it down.

Also.. .another way of increasing your chances of AP'ing on an evening is to have a small sleep first, then to wake up and attempt a little bit later. This only need be a small nap.. or you could go to bed as usual and then set an alarm so it gives you a few hours sleep.

Also you can try very early in the morning.

There are no strict rules when it comes to this... don't let anyone tell you different. :)

Hi and welcome! Usually the biggest barriers we come across are one erected by our own minds. You never know if you don't try! And don't worry, everything is perfectly safe, after all, there's only a fine line between a dream and everything else. You go to the "same place" you just have a different awareness.

Have fun!

Greetings and welcome herat123
It is Very unfortunate when family and friends do not believe in you. But it is important to explore on your own and decide what is real based on your own experiences.

Welcome to AP forums. I understand the feeling when family does not support you. Anyways, good to see you here.
