Hello everyone my name is michael and i have been a member for a few years now 2006 but i lost my way. I am looking to explore and learn again.
In 2006 I was 19 had no job and I was not going to school. I had lost over 100lb and was in the best shape of my life and as a young man wanting to explore and find reason in life
I found this website and I spent most of my time working on OBE and lucid dreaming. I had moments of what felt like enlightenment while i was exploring.

In 2008 I joined the military and went to Iraq. And over my time in the military I forgot why i joined and what my plan was before. I like to think of it as getting to hooah. I forgot about spirituality and became a warrior ready to strike down god him self if he stood in my way. I think this is why I am having such troubles in life now.

I was married in 2011 and have a son who is 6 months old. And I am being medically retired from the military for PTSD. I have not remembered my dreams in years. Besides nightmares. I take medications for my anxiety and nightmares  and i am tiered of living with them and I know getting to my old lifestyle would be best for me and my family.

So i have been working on my breathing and awareness when falling asleep and in the mornings when i can. I have started to dream a little. But they do not feel the same as before. I have had a handful of Lucid dreams over the last few weeks and I do not have the control that i used to. Things are very foggy and I do not have a mission so i fall back into the dream.

Well thats a little bit about me and I am sure i will be around now that i have found the forums again. Hope to see you guys around

Hello and Welcome back to the Astral Pulse!  :-)
That sounds like quite a resume. Life is all about experiencing and it looks like you got out and did quite a bit of that. Just take this slow and in baby steps. I have a friend who got back from the Military and started to Phase. First he had to learn how to get over his personal Demons before he could get to enjoy the true NPR. Sometimes we need to see the darker side of living, before we can really appreciate what we have.
Just know we are here to help you my friend! The NPR can be a place of healing as well!

Greetings and welcome back michaelD
The (second) Iraq war was a big mistake which this country will be paying for a long time. It is quite unfortunate that you became so closely involved. Let's hope that over time your emotional or mental wounds will fully heal.

Sincerely
Grey
