As a child I can remember being able to on demand make my body get very tingly and then it was like i was looking down at myself and the things around me, I would always tell me mom I could do this but she thought I was just imagining things. Not sure if it was astral projection or remote viewing but I could do it. I also had night terrors and taught myself to control my dreams. I would also very often see things that "weren't there" it scared my parents quite a bit as I would mostly see frightening things and lead everyone to a safe place in the house, most of the frightening aspects happened while living in a military PMQ. The last time I can remember experiencing an OBE I was about 13, I am now 26. I still occasionally see things that "aren't there" but not very often, I suppose it was scared out of me somewhat and now that I'm older it is interesting me and I'm trying to recover these things. I'd say I see things once or twice a year. One occasion I awoke from a sleep and there was a man like being sitting on the side of my bed, it was looking straight so did not see me looking at it, it then turned its head and looked at me and slowly dissipated. I have been making myself acknowledge such events instead of turning from them and calling them my imagination as this seems to allow more events to happen. Anyways I don't have anyone around me to really discuss such things so I found this blog! Looking forward to meeting some people and hearing their stories. Cheers!

I would love any tips/pointers from experienced people as well! I'm sure as I dive into the forums I will find a lot of information too.

Welcome WhoDaHell,

I went through pretty much the same thing 45 years ago...but no books and no Internet. There is SO much here that can educate you if you will take the time to dig into it and do the research.

The guy sitting on your bed that you described, was likely a subconscious manifestation...nothing to be worried about...ignore them or send them LOVE and they will simply dissolve. They are subconscious fear manifestations. Scared the crap out of me for years, Lol! Once you recognize what they are, you will move past them without even a thought...

Check out the post "Everything you ever wanted to know about sleep paralysis".

Any questions just ask, we are happy to give suggestions.

You are going to do the TMI Gateway Course? That's great! Be sure to let us know how it goes.

Not the Gateway course yet, just a 3 day excursion in Vancouver to get a taste of it, $200 and upon completion you receive a $200 gift card to use towards the Gateway course or anything else with TMI. I will be sure to post about my experiences at the excursion though! It's nice knowing there are other people who experience these things.

Excellent! Be open to sharing and searching here with like minded people; the answers may be sometimes perfect or a little elusive but nonetheless a wonderful forum for sharing.

I hope to do the Gateway course myself sometime, I discovered Monroe's first book back in 1974. What a delight for a 13 year old! Ohhh how that screwed me up!!

Love and Light.
