Title: Hello there Pulse!
Post by: lucianhimself on February 12, 2018, 06:59:47
Hello there Astral Pulse. This is Lucian. Long time visitor first time poster. I've been checking the pulse regularly for quite some time now, staying up to date on all things astral. For several reasons I've decided that it's time to join the fun. My journey started with lucid dreaming. Something that a close friend of mine would tell me about which would forever change my life. So with that i got to work! In my research however, there was this term that kept coming up. A mysterious one indeed. Astral Projection. Sounded cool enough but for whatever reason I never looked into it. Well one day my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to click the link. Pretty quickly i was blown away. The idea that we could train our minds to leave the body and travel through other dimensions. If this is true i must know. I went up to my bedroom and sat cross legged on the floor and closed my eyes. All I thought about was what it might feel like to leave the body. Only a few moments in and I felt my mind expanding. Then there i was. Entering a nebula deep somewhere in the vast astral cosmos. Just before I could settle into it though, there was a loud bang in my forehead that quickly pulled me out. I would later learn that this popping sound was my third eye. No matter. This was a success as far as I was concerned. This instant satisfying that there is something to this "astral" experience was all of the fuel that I would need to pursue it from then on. Since then I've had numerous experiences into the voud, with varying degrees of control and prolonging over it. Most of my experiences have been spontaneous, which is fine, no complaints there, but after some length of absence from the other realms i find myself here, hoping to get back out again and, hopefully, from there, take it to the next level. Thanks for reading. I look forward to conversing with you!

Always nice when people come out of the shadows and into the light.  :)

Welcome Lucian. This Forum has a great vault of knowledge. I'm sure you will find what you are looking for here. Do the work and you will see the results!

One of the important traits that you need to learn to go further is to become a good "Observer". That's a must, at least in the beginning stages that is.

Right on Lumaza! Would you mind giving me a brief rundown on what being a good observer means to you and how you've applied it over time? I'd like to be sure we're on the same page here.

Learn to "passively observe" everything with a "air of curiosity". Allow your curiosity to draw you in deeper.

Well there you have it. Simple enough. I think I might be more analytical than I am observant. Though they do have their similarities. I think the keyword here, for me at least, is "passive" That I feel takes it a step further.  I see Karxx shares your sentiments. Ha! That's great. I'm always down for some more reassurance.

It sounds like it should be "simple enough", but applying it, is quite another thing. Many people get hung up on these supposedly simple things.

I'll keep that in mind Lumaza. Thanks for being real. I would like to take a moment to put it out there, I've been practicing and experiencing astral projection off and on now for a solid decade, these concepts you've offered aren't as far out there to me as you might think. No worries though, should I ever have any questions (and I'm sure I will) regarding observing as you've described it to me, I'll be sure to leave you a message ;)
