K so i live in utah.. so since everyone here is either christian catholic or LDS. (which i am LDS) there are not alot of people that would accept this kinda thing. so if somone is out there that would be cool. also i have only APed once but it think it is defined as a OBE cause i was pretty much in the physical. if you want more info on that. just send a reply

Welcome! Nice to meet you. I would like to hear more about your experience if you would like to share.

well it was around when i was 9 or 10. the projections didnt start anywhere. i dont remember projecting, i just remember BEING there, dont know how i got there and didnt really care. i saw my body turned to the wall and was in the corner of my room. i had no  perception of a body just a point of consciousness. i also saw my sisters sitting by me talking to eachother. i could hear them and just kept listening. when i awoke they were still there and i was faced in that same direction, all i did was get up (not feeling tired at all, felt like i was already awake) smile look at them and say "i know what your talking about..." i didnt think much of it at the time other then it was cool

i also around the same time. I was day dreaming (never fell asleep) and i just remember falling, through stuff, through layers, just falling really, and Fast! when i hit (either the bottom of whatever i was falling or my body, which is what it felt like) my whole body jumped my legs arms, everything. that happend alot.

also i remember right before i would fall asleep i would feel a kind of jolt. like something was entering me (or i was exiting then getting sucked back in) but i really just dont know what that was. it stopped a little after i moved.

Hi Illusionist, I just joined too.  :-D  I have a quick question for you.  As a LDS, does this sort of thing make you feel bad, or guilty?  I have read that many people from different religions (with buddism being one of the exceptions) experience OBE's and the like and often feel like they are doing something wrong, or that they will be punished.  If you dont mind I would like to hear your thoughts on how you feel as a LDS.  Thank you!  :-)
Its tyme to play :)

No it does not. i am a very opened minded person. and from Blessings that i have received. (personal revelation, through prayer sorta thing) God is Proud of me. mostly cause i think about life and such. but see how i decide if something is a sin or not is, just think about it. i dont think it is because whenever i did it, i felt at peace at home, and i keep getting offices, like i was president at seminary, and now at church too!  if it was a sin then mabey i would feel differently.

Also on another note. i think the bible the book of mormon and all of thoes documents. they are guidelines, or a map if you will on how to get back to heaven. BUT it does not teach you every single thing that IS, or is a sin or is not a sin. power of the mind body and spirit i would say are the other, and we will all probebly learn later (in heaven) so i dont think its bad. and i dont feel bad for doing it, im just getting a headstart.

Illusionist,

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I can relate to what you said about seeing from just a point of consciousness. I have experienced and it is an incredible sensation. And the jolt before sleep that you is something I feel often and you described it exactly like it feels.

I experience that violent jolt all the time especially when I first started meditating and just before i reach focus 10 its like my ego steps in and i panic and force myself to identify with a physical body. its jsut like you said, you're just about to leave your body and BAM you're sucked right back in

Illusionist

Thanks for all the replies.
and onetraveler im glad someone else has experienced this jolt thing before. when i was a kid i didnt know what it was and it kinda scared be, but now when i think back im glad that i had the privilege to OBE and to experience the things that i did.
