hi guys..first experience.. and couple q's!

hey guys! well.. I've been reading these forums for 2 weeks. my name is Dominic, I'm 17 years old and i had no idea anything like this existed. when i was growing up i would sometimes have moments where i would COMPLETELY zone out.. i mean.. everything shutting down, and i could like stare at a wall for almost an hour without thinking consciously. i didn't choose when these happened and i had these "blankouts" probably around 3 times a week. i dint remember experiencing leaving my body though

about a year ago i looked into meditation.. i read into different methods, and the music that can help..  recently i stumbled across an article about astral projection..  i found it VERY interesting and googled it.. and found this place.

about an hour ago.. i think i had my first PARTIAL obe.. i was meditating, thinking about Christmas and kids in need (yeah sounds corny   ) but anyways.. i realized that my body was asleep but my brain was still "on" ? consciously thinking.. so i attempted to lift my hand and i managed to raise it up. i had a pillow partially covering my face (i could see my hand) i opened my eyes seeing ONLY fuzzy black and white (no I'm not colorblind), my hand was still down, but i felt myself waving it around. literally 10 seconds later my phone rang.. relatives asking how my Christmas was  

well... I'm sure if they didn't call i would have gone completely up.. oh well.. ill try again later..

one strange thing i noticed.. after i got off the phone (half awake) i started vibrating while sitting up (after talking on the phone???) i pinched myself and stood up and everything was normal again.. is it normal to have vibrations after an interruption literally wakes you up?? I'm curious..

one more question.. are there any health risks associated with this? i understand 100% that this is a spiritual experience.. but i dint want to wake up one day with a seizure or something crazy in the physical world by attempting to OBE.. hopefully you can understand my point of view..

this is a pretty awesome place.. and now that I'm registered I'm sure ill be coming back often.
